Stopped in for our usual post shopping pint, and got to enjoy some food from their expanded menu. As always, the service and quality is top notch, and got to see and greet some of the staff we've met over the years. Only issue sometimes is finding a place to sit, lots of folks glued to their laptops, nursing free water or a single order for hours and taking up space. Oh well, modern times.

Red Horn Brewing wasn't on my list for breweries to try but I am glad I had the opportunity to try…read morethem as the beer we had was excellent and I rated it very highly on Untappd! The beer we had was the House United Coffee Stout. Every once in a while I do love a good Coffee Stout! And this one was so good and perhaps due to that was the fact that Red Hirn is also a Coffee shop! The bold flavor features in this beer that your tongue can play with is coffee, cocoa, roastiness and coconut. The beer is extremely smooth and a real joy to drink. Definitely major kudos on this beer!

Surprisingly good little station-in-the-wall place! After going past this place a bajillion times,…read moreI finally stopped in and tried both the chicken and beef fajita plates. These delicious morsels are served with roasted peppers, onions, and cheese and include beans and rice as a side. The menu is fairly diverse for a burgers-and-tacos sort of place. They offer gorditas and tacos al pastor, which is a pleasant surprise. While I can't comment on the burgers or fries as of yet, these were delish in a most interesting and unusual way. That is...the beans, which are a bit watery at the start, are a sort of tasty universal food lubricant. Both the rice and the fajitas are a touch on the dry side. But a dollop of the beans...and voila, everything comes out perfectly tasty and the right level of moist! It's almost head-scratchingly good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in this neck of the woods. I know that I'll be back. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK being seen eating here by Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either. Note: To my knowledge, there are no sit-down tables here, so this is a sit n' eat in your car kind of place, or for takeout only.

They do have some tables that you could sit and eat there if you want and watch the people go in and out of the store, Everyone is always nice and friendly. They have a variety, drinks and alcohol all kinds of cigarettes. Of course they have the Texas Lottery and scratch off tickets. I go mostly there to get a fountain drink because they have that really good sonic ice. This is a really good local convenience store when you just need something quick and you don't want to drive to Walmart or H-E-B

I want more of a service experience in my dining experience…read more I sat myself; I scan a code to order (which I so hate, no menu) and PAID before my food came to me with tip. NOT a restaurant experience more like fast food joint. One person brought our drinks and the soda was flat. The other brough us our food and I will say our hot dogs were good; although we shared fries because they do not come included with your order. The atmosphere and decor does not match what I thought would be a theme, kind of sad that it focuses on the beer but even then, the decor is cold. Because you really do not get a server, no one comes by to check on your service, food or refills. And remember you already tipped when you placed the order! When you go out you want an experience and we did not get that here.

I do appreciate the option for Impossible dogs and burgers, though you'll have to order them without a bun and most toppings to keep it vegan. It seems like a neighborhood spot where the people are friendly and no one is judging if you need to start happy hour at 3pm. On that note though, it's a huge bummer that the happy hour deals got a major downgrade. Instead of all drinks being $5 flat, now it's just $3 off select cocktails and $2 off beer and wine. Since the Four Points location closed, I get it, they're clearly trying to cut back and improve margins. It's a fine deal but for the quality of cocktails, not really worth it anymore.

This toxic, rude bartender named Noe literally cards us every time even though he knows we are 40 years old while not carding younger people next to us. I quickly learned why it's a favorite among the elevated crowd, the sandwiches are named after different THC strains! Before anyone asks, no, the food is not infused. The names are just part of the fun. Now, I'm a toasted sub enthusiast, and a toasted sandwich is only as good as its bread. Thankfully, this place delivers. The menu is creative, the atmosphere is laid-back, and there are plenty of little touches that make it stand out. One of my favorite surprises was the drink fountain stocked with old-school Kool-Aid flavors. Instant nostalgia! They also have a full bar and outdoor seating, making it a great spot to kick back and hang out. Don't skip the house-made "smoker snacks" either. The Rice Krispie treats and cookies are dangerously good and worth saving room for. A heads-up: parking can be a little tight up front, but I've heard there's additional parking in the back. My biggest piece of advice? Go big. The small sandwich is basically foreplay, it'll leave you wanting more. Order the large and thank me later. Overall: Great food, fun theme, nostalgic drinks, tasty treats, and chill vibes. Definitely a spot worth checking out, whether you're a cannabis connoisseur or just someone who appreciates a solid sandwich.
