We then made roughly 30 attempts to contact the office to arrange that follow-up and could not get through. We eventually went to the address listed on the ER discharge paperwork, only to discover that the office was closed and patients were being redirected to another location. At the alternate location, the receptionist could not find the referral and was not helpful in resolving the situation. We were ultimately offered an appointment if we were willing to pay out of pocket. My biggest concern is not simply the receptionist's attitude. It is the overall failure of communication and continuity of care: my wife, being an ER patient, was instructed to obtain specialist follow-up, yet we could not actually obtain that follow-up despite all the effort.

I too had a squamous cell carcinoma and a basal cell carcinoma on my face that needed to be removed with Mohs - all three of us had seen the dermatologist within three months in Redding prior to seeing Dr Fazio- exceptional office and staff- and life changing for us.

When you're leaving, they're cold and unprofessional. When you call back and attempt obtain your medical records, they transfer you to voicemails which state "this voicemail is not monitored and your call may not be returned..." which is horrendous to hear. I recommend skipping this provider. It isn't worth enduring their horrendous customer service while you're simply trying to feel better. If they act out, consider filing a complaint against them with the DMHC.

The result ended up being a major back surgery of a Lumbar 360 Infusion at two levels, with titanium cage placement and several bone grafts with it. The reason for our encounter was, I ended up being referred to him as an emergency, due to a failed Lumbar Laminectomy 7 months prior. Fast forward 20 years later (now) I've done okay, but we're at a crossroads of having to go back to surgery again. I'm very grateful for him and the work he had done.
