Feeling she wouldn't be in this business if this snottiness fell onto HOW she treated my dog. But it did. Usually I go to Doggie D'Tail, but owner, manager was on vacation so I came here. When I got her, she was yipping crying and couldn't wait to get out of there. She was laying in a cage with wire no cushion or towel. My dog 10 yrs old, had issues going down her porch steps, tail down? Never does she have her tail down unless she hurts or scared. She couldn't get into my El Camino. This is a dog who runs circles round everyone, loud and always with tail up like a parade horse. Tail down the second she Stood on floor. TERRIBLE GROOMING WACK JOB FOR $30! Shaving and bald spots in more than six areas along with clipping her toenails til they bled. Also she had a welt where the band they put around belly on table to keep them still had been so tight she had a blackish indentation for more than two hours, which all this was recorded at my vet, at the Ark here in Stayton. This unnesscasary vet visit costed me $93 dollars for pain medicine, pain patch so it would make her lay calmly the first three days. After a full check up, now she's laying on my bed not even wanting to go for a ride, walk or eat! Now she has a bald spot on her back so she could have a pain patch stapled on her-back! Thank goodness they just gave her a ace bandage tape wrapping to keep it I place. She ALWAYS lays on her back so to get her belly rub, and now she can't even come close to manovering a roll over on her back. My family members are shocked to see I didn't get the police over for cruelty to animals on her, or police hauling me off to jail from thumping on her. Actually I was more concerned about her getting to the vet before closing. I wish I had. Still have 48 hours to make out a report. Thinking hard... But for you folks out there, learn to groom your own animals OR take them to Doggie D'Tail on Washington street in Stayton. Stay away from Kathleen's Grooming. This is not over yet! IF someone ever bashes a animal, or child, you get them to Drs. And you have up to 72 hours to press charges. She needs to stay away from animals.

l've taken my standard poodle here a few times before where she's been groomed by Dani, and while…read moreshe was there for ridiculous amounts of time each time (5-8 hours), they were lovely grooms. However, after today's experience with Ava we will not be returning. She was there for 5 hours and came home with major clipper burn on her face, neck, and feet. This has never been an issue with any of her groomers in the past. Her paw was also cut pretty badly and led to her bleeding all over my car on the way home. The haircut is terrible, they hacked off MONTHS of growth from her topknot and poms instead of just shaping them like I asked. I'm extremely disappointed and upset.
