A short google search later, we found Daisy Field Farms and spoke to the owner who was kind enough to find us a slot that matched our schedule. We even got 20mins late while getting there because our GPS totally screwed us over, but they were kind enough to wait and immediately got us horses when we got there. I got Stella who was a beautiful big horse, strong and obedient. We trotted with our horses in a single file over a small hill/mountain. I don't know what to call it, only trust me when I say this IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. The farm looks like it's come out of the pages of an adorable old school english farm illustration. There are wagons here and there, Dumbo the dog is super friendly, there are goats you can feed, and rabbits too. During the one hour ride, you're taken up and down and around a mountain, through forests and fields and by small lakes. It was a gorgeous day when we went and everything looked 10times prettier. The couple who run this place are super nice and the horses look very well taken care of. Summer vacations are on and their three adorable little grandsons were helping around the farm too. I was positively jealous and swear I never wanted to leave. I'll be back again for sure, this place just made me so so happy!

We had an amazing guide! There was beautiful scenery through the mountains. I would definitely come…read moreback again!

If you're an equestrian like me this place is heaven. There are so many horses here to ride, and the boarders who keep their horses here are SO nice, no catty, snobby barn people here. Genuine respect and horse lovers everywhere. Interested in jumping and showing? Look no further. There's a Show Team comprised of all ages and levels whether beginner or jumping 3 ft and cross country courses, great jumping lessons available as well. I love this place. I'm so glad I found Haycock. Only 1 hour away from Philly and equal distance from north Newark/NYC Joanne and staff, thank you!

Pulled my back out due to the deep wet stalls and paid over $100. In doctors bills. A lot of their horses are in standing stalls with soaked 12" deep packed wet sawdust on wet rubber mats with no fly spray or baking soda. I saw a broken leg and hove issues on the poor horses and the older lady who I think is the owner hitting the horses. The sawdust and floor mats were heavily soaked. Sawdust and hay were previously added ( dumped on top of old ) without cleaning or drying out the stall. Rubber mats are ruined and worthless. Stalls were a foot deep in a wet mess. I hope the owner either sells or puts out more money to hire proper care because no animal deserves to live in those conditions. @lastchancerance @humainesociety or any other animal rights organization, somebody please help these horses escape from this place.

Recently stayed overnight while passing through PA. I would highly recommend staying here…read more Beautiful farm with some fascinating animals. We got a guided tour and were introduced to the farm animals with their names and some back stories on them. I fell in love with the two Great Pyrenees dogs and the 41 year old horse! Comfortable bed, also enjoyed farm-made ice cream on the porch in a rocking chair. In the morning, watched the cows and goats be milked took a nice walk through the path in the woods and revisited the animals before having an amazing breakfast of delicious bacon, eggs and potatoes, made special by Kathleen. Didn't leave empty handed either. Took home some great cheeses, that were also made on the farm. Would definitely stay again!

Kathy was gracious about our arriving late (farmers wake up early!) due to traffic. My husband, two kids (7 and 11) and I slept in a cute room with a deck. We woke up to a rooster and were ready to begin our chores bright and early! Sam was kind and patient when showing us how to milk goats, and Mike let us help bottle feed a brand new baby calf. We even got to take the calf on a walk with a leash! What a wonderful experience for kids! My daughter got to help tend to chickens, and gather and clean eggs. The animals are very well cared for and friendly. The farmhouse is renovated for modern comfort but still has an old-time country feel--perfect combo. P.S. The bathroom has a jacuzzi! Kathy is a lovely host -- she kept us well fed. Breakfast each morning consisted of homemade muffins, scones, breads, yogurt, kefir, smoothies, butter, with farm fresh eggs. She made wonderful pancakes, bacon, and potatoes too. I got to take a cheesemaking class -- depending on how much time you have, Kathy offers shorter classes and longer classes. I couldn't get enough of the delicious raw milk and yogurt (we don't have access to this stuff in NYC). I raided the store before we left. I recommend the goat manchego!

I spoke with Carrie who altered her schedule for that day to fit us in and we couldn't have had a more wonderful experience. She took the time to get us comfortable with our horses, I had Montana and my wife had Sonny, and we fed them treats, she showed us how to saddle them up properly, and patiently explained how to properly ride and handle our beautiful horses. She then led us on their scenic trail through flower-bedded fields, hilly horse paths, and by a scenic lake all while she took hundreds of pictures of us throughout our journey to cherish for years to come. Carrie has a beautiful farm, stable, and even an indoor area for riding lessons and parties. Her horses are all beautiful, well-kept, trained to handle all level of riders, and obviously well-loved and cared for. I highly recommend Misty Hollow for everyone, no matter which experience you choose to partake in (trail riding, lessons, parties, equestrian, etc). I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you Carrie and Misty Hollow, as well as Montana, Sonny, and Holly, for wonderful memories made!!!!

I really love horses and was interested in grooming and tacking the horse I am to ride. I have ridden the same horse so far and she is perfect for now. Cari is a wonderful instructor and I have learned many things I was never taught before. She is also very patient! She also cares about horses and takes great care of them and that was part of my decision to ride here. I have already signed up for additional lessons. I went on a trail ride yesterday for the first time and all I can say is it was incredibly awesome. We walked some and enjoyed the scenery and had the opportunity to canter as well. It was loads of fun and I look forward to going again. If you are looking for a place to learn to ride, continue your training and going on Trail rides this is definitely the place to go! I highly recommend this place.
