The therapists documented my progress on exercises using their laptop computer. This enabled exercises to be tailored to my specific need. Although the location in the Giant/Home Depot shopping center on 25th Street is not large, it includes a therapy pool. I found doing exercises in water reduced joint pain, permitted greater range of leg motion and helped improve my balance. Besides physical therapy, occupational therapy is also offered.

The exercises and stretches she recommended were easy and required almost no equipment. The equipment I did need to purchase was pretty cheap (think elastic bands, massage balls). Keri also helped me work on my achilles tendonitis with a lot more success than my previous physical therapists. Compared to my previous experiences with physical therapy Keri was amazing!

**WARNING - UNVACCINATED STAFF IN CLINICAL SETTING** After…read moregoing to Robbins East for the last month, I was shocked to learn that staff (including the PT treating me) isn't required to be vaccinated. This means that I was unknowingly exposed for over 4 weeks. I recently attended my sister's outdoor wedding (which required all attendees to be vaccinated) where I interacted with immunocompromised relatives, on top of staying with my elderly parents. Robbins' dangerous decision literally puts lives at risk. At the very minimum, I should've been aware of this when I first booked an appointment (I was not). I only discovered it from an off-hand comment from my PT. Given that they book 2 patients for every PT session, they're exposing a high volume of patients, many of whom are older, ill and at higher risk for COVID-related complications and death. If we assume (modestly) that 5 PTs at each office see 20 patients (2x patients each hour for a 10-hour shift), that amounts to each office exposing 100 people -- across 6 Robbins offices, that's 600 patients daily. It's not just about the health of the individual patient. It extends to the patient's household, family members and everyone they interact with. Ultimately, the blame lies squarely on Robbins' management for not requiring public safety measures that are overwhelmingly backed by science. If they can't make a sound decision about vaccinations based on irrefutable clinical evidence, I can't trust them with my care. If you find yourself in the same boat, I recommend finding PT providers affiliated with the local hospital systems -- St. Luke's and Lehigh Valley Health Network are both requiring their staff to be vaccinated.

I have been coming for one month (ONLY ONE MONTH!) and the improvement in my alignment is incredible. I now have a toolkit of many different strengthening exercises to help me gain strength and improve my alignment. Anyone who has a joint problem, this is definitely an option you should consider, certainly as an alternative to surgery!

Dr. Millman is knowledgeable and down to earth. He has worked WITH ME, in that once an exercise is introduced, he builds on the technique rather than assuming that that I got it the first time. I have seen a BIG improvement in my range of motion and in my ability to minimize my own neck discomfort. The office staff is professional and friendly. They go out of their way to accommodate scheduling needs. All in all, Bethlehem Rehabilitation Specialists runs like a well oiled machine. I've been to this clinic several times getting Physical therapy, I am a Physical therapist myself…read more I am treated by Bill and he's simply the best! Extremely skilled, caring and experienced ! He has identified my issues, created the best treatment plan, progressing the program at my pace. I have observed the other therapists as well and the great thing about this facilty vs other facilitaties is you get a lot of one on one care. The maximum number of patients they see in a time slot is 2. Many other facilities you are given a set of exercises and left to do on your own with little to no guidance. The individual care is so important in getting quality care! I have gotten my neck pain resolved there in the past and am now going for back and hip pain. I am improving greatly with the skilled treatment by Bill. The office staff is fantastic as well! The wait is negligible. I look forward to my appointments and do my home program religiously.
