I'm never one to leave a bad review but this was our first time attempting to use a travel agency. We wanted to look into a trip to Yellowstone and we let the curly red haired lady at the front desk know that. She promptly said that trips to Yellowstone were booked a year in advance (great, that's information we needed to know). And when I asked for an introduction into using a travel agent, like a quick explanation of how the process works, she just said, "we are a travel agency, we book international travel," full of sarcasm. When we asked once more about Yellowstone she said "it would be so hard to get a hold of them." Never offered to let us speak to a travel agent, never gave us any other opportunities, shot down anything we asked. I've never felt so mistreated by a business before. We would loved to have found a place to help us book cruises and other trips but we will keep looking for sure. I'm sorry if this business is fantastic but you need to change who greets possible customers if this is the case. read more

My second time using this service first time was very good they help me with my Disney World Vacation with my daughter, but the second time I tried to schedule a cruise through them and the travel agent I got was less than great she was very Opinionated like it was her vacation not mine and trying to cut counters when I didn't want her to, and she tried to get me to go Economy when I wanted to go business or first class in my flight, and she was trying to give me to do a lesser cabin on the cruise ship. I had to research my own flights my own cabins everything I didn't get any help from her on any of it and that's why I was wondering why she wanted to charge me $200. And she told me I had plenty of time to pay off the cruise which wouldn't be until 12 September 2 which is tomorrow but at the time it was like paid over a year away and then all of a sudden she wanted the full a forcing me to have to cancel my trip and then she charged me $200 for that privilege. I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere from now. I wouldn't refer her or that business as long as she is in that office to anyone. read more

we wanted to go to Scotland. the self drive packages started at 899 and went up. we chose a package "live like a clan chief". our trip ended out at 2400 each. I expected because the hotels would be castles. unfortunately that was not the case. I could have booked all our hotels and rental car for about 500/pp. the airfare was the same as for the 899 package. We feel suckered into opting for a fancy trip and getting status quo. we could easily have booked all this on our own and saved about 2500. when we asked about it they ignored the question. No reason to use a travel agency for something you can do with several clicks of a mouse. read more

Travel Masters is giving the travelers nice suggestions for places like hotels, restaurants, service centers, etc. that can meet their needs when they go to Tyler, Texas. It's nice that the travelers can have a wonderful visit to the place. read more

When you need a little extra help planning a special trip....the service is exceptional.

This company donated a trip to San Diego for the Tyler Cattle Baron's Ball which is orchestrated to raise money for the American Cancer Society. While this is a great cause to donate to, some companies also take advantage of donating so they can advertise and promote their business. After my conversation with Travel Masters today, it is apparent to me that their only motivation for having the #1 Trip Giveaway was for the free advertising and they are doing everything they can to get out of actually having to provide this trip. Not only did they put a very early expiration of December 15th on the trip, but now they are saying that I can not even give this trip to a family member because I am unable to get off work to take the trip myself. How can you win something and not have the option to give that to someone else if you aren't able to use it? If this is truly non transferable, then I guess the entity that is Cattle Baron's Ball is the only one that can use this trip. This is absolutely ridiculous and even appalling when you consider this was a donation for the American Cancer Society. I will also be notifying members of the Cattle Barron committee to ensure that this doesn't happen to another unsuspecting person next year. I will never be doing any business with Travel Masters and I will tell everyone I can to avoid this company in the future. Thanks for your donation. read more
