For my latest reservation the operator asked for the flight info of my client on the return and was there to pick him up after he'd arrived! I like this because no other cab company I've used before has volunteered to do this, otherwise I would not have known. I'm glad they are so accomodating and its nice in the age of Lyft and Uber because cab drivers still have a place for my clients who aren't savvy enough use a smartphone and will wait for them after coming off of a flight. Would recommend as they often have deals in the local paper advertisements for the Morris-Essex area, decent prices and good service.

I booked my boyfriend's birthday trip to Brooklyn Brewery from NJ through Safe Rides and Excellent…read moreLimo was the company they hired. It was a MISERABLE experience and would give zero stars if I could. I'm an easy going person so feeling the need to write this proves how awful a company they really are. First- the driver, Sim, did not know how to get the AC unit working in the back of the Escalade. He arrived 10 minutes early and should have figured this out before our 11am departure. We were all outside ready to go at 11am and we did not leave until 11:25am. He had the correct address of "Brooklyn Brewery- North 11th Avenue, Brooklyn" from the reservation, but put the wrong address into the GPS. After crossing a bridge much south of where I knew we should be going, I pointed out to him that we were 45 minutes in the wrong direction. He proceeded to yell at me and tell me I didn't know what I was talking about. I then called their dispatch and requested that they call him to discuss and get us on the correct route. While on the phone with his boss, he threatened to leave us on the side of the road because he "has 25 years in this industry and she doesn't know what she's talking about". I wonder if this was just because a woman was trying to help, or if he was just that stubborn. Instead of speaking calmly to me and trying to rectify the situation, he closed the partition between the cab and the back of the car, ignoring my attempts to give him correct directions. After 10 more minutes of driving on the wrong highway, he pulled to the side of the road and then asked me for the address again. It took him another 5-10 minutes to understand the correct address and that we were closer to JFK than Williamsburg. Later on, he drove the wrong way down a one-way street, where a police officer flagged him down, because he made a wrong turn and could not fit the limo around a curved turn to go back. When we finally arrived to the Brewery, 2.5 hours later, I informed him that I had spoken to both Safe Rides and boss and that I expected a partial refund for his mistake. He proceeded to again yell at me and threaten to leave us there, saying it was not my job to get the bosses involved. I told him I'd have his job if he left us and that all he needed to do was apologize. Which of course he didn't. Sim was beyond unprofessional and also inappropriately tried to kiss my forehead upon our arrival back to NJ- maybe as a sign of apology? But way out of line. NEVER using them again. And still waiting for an apology from the owner and a refund. Bullshit company.

Our most recent experience was this past December(2021). We took our entire family, all 15 of us, on a trip to the Galapagos islands, Peru and Machu Picchu.  The trip and it's transportation , excursions, guides, hotels and meals was well thought out and well planned. It actually exceeded our expectations, which were NOT low!  We rented an entire boat to accommodate all of us in the Galapagos islands. The boat was comfortable, the crew was capable and friendly, the guide was knowledgeable and helpful and the food was beyond delicious and beautiful!   Being in the Galapagos this way was a magical experience!  We then went to Peru and stayed in Cusco, an historic colonial city, enroute to Machu Picchu. Bill at Classic arranged amazing experiences for us such as rafting on the Urubamba River in Peru, riding to Machu Picchu on the Hiram Bingham train, a former Orient Express train and many other things. The transportation arrangements were flawless, the guides were helpful and knowledgeable. I really don't know what more to say to praise the team at Classic except to say that we have used them before. They earned our selection of them for the trip in December 2021 AND I will be using them again in the future!  In case it is useful for readers to know, Classic planned a remarkable trip for us to Belize for five days each in the mountains and in the shore. They also put together a wonderful trip for us and another couple to Argentina and Brazil. We were in Patagonia, Buenos Aries, Argentina, Iquzu Falls and Rio de Janeiro.  Their commitment to detail combined with their knowledge and resources have been of extraordinary benefit to us. Their website clearly advertises a limousine or Lincoln Town Car experience, so I expected something along those lines. Instead, a Tesla showed up at my door an hour and a half before our prepaid dinner reservation. While the driver was polite and professional and the ride itself was pleasant, the overall experience was not what I paid for. I was charged nearly $200 for what felt like a basic ride I could have booked on Uber for half the price. When I complained, the company told me this was "standard" because they outsource rides to third parties -- something I was never informed of beforehand. To make things worse, their idea of making it right was offering me 10% off the base rate -- a grand total of about nine dollars, which is less than what my latte costs me daily. That token gesture only underscored how little they value their customers' experience. For anyone expecting a true luxury or private car service, be aware that what's advertised may not be what you get. Transparency and honesty matter, especially at this price point. If you're looking for a reliable high-end experience, I've had much better service with EmpireCLS, who actually deliver what they promise.
