However when I called and asked to speak with the person my friends usedI was informed she was no longer there and was transferred to another agent. Italy has been on my bucket list for quite a while now. We are getting tax money back that we didn't plan on and the stars all aligned for hubby and I to finally get to Italy ( this was prior to the Coronavirus hitting Italy) I got on the phone with Lori (or maybe is was Lisa) I told her my husband had 1 week vacation time so we wanted to leave on a Friday and come home 10 days later on a Sunday so we utilized 2 full weekends. I told her places I really wanted to see and said I was flexible on dates as well as itinerary. She asked my name, address, phone number, email, budget etc. and spend about 15 minutes on the phone with me. The. She tells me - get this - "In order for me to put something together for you we charge $150 per person ($300 for myself and husband) I was upset over this for several reasons. 1st: this should have been told up front, not after getting all of my personal information. 2nd : I know my friends did not pay any fees. Then to top it off I have inboxed several of the other Yelpers who left 5 star reviews and guess what? Not a single person had to pay any fees upfront. I asked to speak with manager and she said they do Charge a fee to plan a trip! My friends who suggested this place was appalled when I told them what happened! They did go about 5 years ago and their agent they dealt with was no longer there but what a way to turn off clients.

Previously, I posted I was very satisfied with my experience with First-Class Vacations. Sadly, I…read morehave to amend my review due to a new development: I scheduled a cruise for myself and three other adults for early September. I paid extra for the trip insurance because one member of our party was suffering from a serious illness, and we knew she might have a setback and be too ill to make the trip. FCV didn't give me any info about the insurance, or what it does and doesn't cover. Thus, I didn't know the insurance that comes ordinarily with the purchase, does not cover cancellation of trips resulting from a health condition related to an illness which afflicted the member of the party prior to scheduling the trip. As a result, our friend suffered an unexpected worsening of her condition, so the trip had to be cancelled; the claim I filed with the trip insurance was denied because of our friend's pre-existing condition. I called FCV to inquire about it and the agent to whom I spoke claimed "they" didn't know anything about conditions that would invalidate the insurance. If they really didn't know, that seems unacceptably uninformed. More likely, I think they were quite aware of the policy about conditions not covered under the insurance policy, and the agent on the phone simply was not truthful. What makes me even more annoyed is I called the director of FCV's marketing and I warned her I would be forced to change my good review to a poor review if I didn't hear from her. She never called back, so I have to assume she has no concern for a dissatisfied customer, or a critical review. What a shame. If you're going to buy the trip insurance, make sure you research the policy thoroughly, and that you're fully aware of what is or isn't covered.

My parents are no longer able to travel so we have requested a refund but they are unable to because FCV do not have any money. $6500 is ALOT of money for my parents They only have SS income. I really hope they receive their hard earned money back. Shame on FCV for taking advantage of people. My parents are 82 years old and the money could be very helpful to them.

I received an email saying our time had expired 2 months before it had and wanting 399 to extend the cruise. I said I had proof it had not and ask for a cruise to be found. Nothing was done. I asked for our first money back and was refused saying there were no refunds, but for another 399 they would extend. When I said no they were very rude and hung up.

After talking with me later that night we decided against the cruise. 1/14/2015 - Wife called to cancel package. He asked for a reason to which I told him that was our business. He reiterated that the call was recorded and said that the amount is not refundable. I told him that I know for a fact based on internet reports that they in fact do give refunds. He then told me that his manager would give me a call in a while. 1/15-2015 - Received phone call from a woman calling herself Delilah and stated that she was the VP of the cruise section. She as very abrupted and said they needed a reason for our cancelling. I said that we choose not to use your company at which time she hung up on me. Luckily caller ID captured he number so I called her back. I asked her why she hung up on me and she exclaimed my reason and that they were going to refund our money. I told her that she did not tell me that she just hung up. She said that they were going to refund our money and there was nothing left to say. \ If Delilah is indeed the VP of the cruise section then she needs to receive some customer service training or attend a finishing school for women because she does not possess the demeanor or skill sets of a VP or a customer service representative.

They said they would help me do the paper work, etc.. I specifically asked how long I'd be there and was told usually about an hour, no more than 1.5 hours. The majority of the 1 hr and 15 minutes was spent on getting some info on my timeshares and then showing me this program that doesn't have maintenance fees and all the places I can go for cheaper than with my timeshares. I worked with Mario and Tony, I think his name was Tony. When it hit 1hr and 26 minutes I said I wasn't interested in the $15,000 fee to get out of my timeshare(s) and I was told I'd be there no more than 1.5 hrs. I told them I was told there wouldn't be any selling, they said they weren't selling me anything. Yes, they were.....they were trying to sell me/get me to pay them an exorbitant amount of money for their legal fees. I said I can get out of Wyndham on my own, Tony said there is not exit plan with them, he knows bc he worked for them. Whatever! Tony didn't like what I was saying to him so he started raising his voice and shaking his finger at me, which I am not going to tolerate, the next thing I know both men are raising their voices at me and telling me to leave. I said I'm not leaving without the incentive I was promised. They said they were getting security to put me out. Hotel people came and asked me to leave, I said I'm not leaving without my incentive. Then Tony tried to say I wasn't getting my incentive. Another man said he was working on it. Hotel staff said they were calling the non-emergency police and I said go ahead, I'm not doing anything wrong. I did my part and stayed for the presentation and I wanted was I was owed. After leaving I checked them out myself and found the following: Key Details of Consumer Complaints and Actions: Misleading Sales Tactics: Consumers have reported being lured into high-pressure seminars with promises of getting out of their timeshares, only to be charged thousands of dollars for timeshare exits and unrequested travel club memberships. Unfulfilled Services: Numerous customers have complained that Options Travel Group failed to deliver on promises to legally cancel their timeshares and subsequently stopped returning phone calls. Government Investigations: The business has faced investigations by Adult Protective Services (APS) and other government agencies over allegations of coercive and fraudulent sales representations, specifically targeting seniors. (Some of the sales people are seniors. How can they live with themselves ripping off other elderly people?).
