There are a myriad of reasons I do not recommend this group starting with the fact they helped book a family vacation that sent us (at their recommendation) to a resort that was much more suitable for drunk singles than families with kids in spite of the fact they new exactly what we were looking for and the mix of people traveling. It was clear that every aspect of their planning was focused on what generated the most commissions and spiffs, not what was best for our family. To top it all off, the charter flight to Cancun that they practically insisted we fly on was delayed by two hours coming back to Kansas City, which caused us to miss all of our flights from there (for family that had to fly other places like us). Because we were on a charter flight they had no responsibility for all of our connections, which they made abundantly clear to us (via text message). This was their chance to jump in and prove their worth but they did the exact opposite. Our agent (Leslie) told us that while the online flight status showed we'd miss our flights, she had gotten "direct confirmation" that the flights would be delayed and we'd make them. When we landed in Kansas City and it turned out she was totally wrong, it became clear she had done nothing during our 3 hour flight to check on status or look for alternatives. If she had done this she could have booked us on two different flights out but by the time we landed we were within the booking window where this could not be done. This mistake cost us over $1,500 in new ticket purchases since our prior tickets were non-refundable and the airline they were on (Southwest) did not have any flights with availability for three days. I have never had to deal with an organization so focused on their own best interests and so unconcerned about helping their clients. It is clear that the minute we booked travel and they got their commission they felt their job was done, when the reality is they should have been engaged to ensure things went smoothly throughout our trip. I cannot figure out how they stay in business unless they have a lot of friends who feel guilty using alternative travel planners.

We had never been on a cruise before, and I reached out to Mallory to help us set up booking. She not only helped us get the best prices, she helped with cabin placements, we got credit on our rooms, she got us the most amazing seats for our evening meals. I didn't even know about the evening meals, so we would have totally missed out on that added perk. She also helped me with the early check in to get on the boat the day of, I didn't know about that either. So not only did we get to get on the boat in the first group, we got to get on the boat period!! I didn't know we had to do that either, so tragically, the day of we might have missed that!! We had to print stuff off to have on hand and I didn't know that. Game Day: Doug was timely, welcoming and had great information tips to enhance our experience at The KC Playoff game. He even brought extra jackets and hats just in case we needed them for the extreme cold temperatures. Doug arrived early after the game and communicated frequently to help us connect with him for pick up. We felt very safe knowing Doug was there to take us back to our hotel. He also gave us a tour of the iconic union station which allowed us to take some amazing photos. Tim arrived early to take us back to the airport. We hired a hummer limo for the wedding party and an executive coach bus for our out-of-town guests. We came to Showtime with a particularly challenging wedding timeline. Separate ceremony and reception venues, 40 minutes apart, with over half of guests coming in from out-of-town. During the busiest wedding month of the year, October. Our wedding ceremony was at Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel & our wedding reception was at The Guild in downtown KC. The limo went from the hotel to the salon to the ceremony to reception. The bus went from the hotel to the ceremony to reception. After the reception, guests were on their own and it worked out fine. Our only minor complaint was the AC wasn't working on either the limo or the bus. Since it was October, it was bearable & we were able to work out a partial refund with Showtime. Overall, Showtime was professional with excellent customer service. We would hire them again.
