My husband had the steak and I had the chicken with angel hair with mushrooms and artichoke hearts. All was cooked perfectly. We very much enjoyed our meal.

I wish they had more vegetarian options and lighter dishes too, italian food is not all about pasta only. It's a safe place for generous and good italian dishes though.

The salmon carpaccio is also recommended and at some point I will update this review to include the meat dishes and pizzas which look great but I never got to them since the pastas are all so good. I will say, I do not recommend the lasagna. Granted I had this only once, but it was not a good option. As the kitchen space is limited, the cooking of the lasagna was not good - felt like it was frozen and reheated and not in a good way. So, I recommend you always go for a pasta dish (these have always been amazing). they make the pasta on the spot (as you pay you can see the cooks on the stove tossing the pastas). Usually around R$24-26 you get a good serving of flavorful pasta.

The mixture of chicken, cheese and ham was fantastic with a side of potatoes and vegetables. I really love the meal! My meal on the hand was disappointing. I got a bowl of beans with a huge piece of bone rather than meat. In fact, my meat portion was smaller than half my pink size. Super disappointed, that's why the 3 stars.

I was trying to find a decent place in the Centro to eat pizza and this one fits the bill. I…read moreordered a pizza with prosciutto (presunto Parma) and funghi and enjoyed it, the dough is nice, cheese ok, sauce could use just a touch more salt but overall, it's a nice pizza, baked in a wood oven, which is certainly a plus. Also a bonus, it's situated in a very quaint side street so there is even room for a nice terrace. On the minus side, the service is customarily slow (I had to get up and ask for a bill since no one was paying any attention to me) and they don't accept the Sodexo card (but that's just my own perticular gripe).

It's the mall's busiest spot with two entrances, two large signs featuring their menu, and lots of photos of typical dishes. You can enjoy their food as takeout, dine in, or pull up to the counter. We chose the 3rd option and enjoyed two warm koftas de frango(chicken empanadas). The counter includes bottles of lemon juice, Arabian pepper sauce, and molho de ajo(garlic sauce), or in my case, all three. Tips: practice your Portuguese. All of the workers are monolingual, but I was happy to push myself and get my orders right.( I did make one of the counter clerks laugh when I said não sei.) If you eat at the counter, you'll rub elbows with locals as they enjoy a quick lunch. Tip 2: no food photos. I didn't get a pic of our meal because I would have been the only person pulling out my phone.
