il Bercau is a must if you visit Barolo. Laid Back gourmet excellence served on a covered patio. Bring your kids, there is a killer playground connected to the patio. There is no food menu. You eat what they bring you over 5-9 courses. It is phenomenal. Highlights are the raw beef rump starter, the mushroom polenta, the tajarine with truffle shavings. There is a wine menu. There are ALL the good wines from Barolo on that menu, listed by Subregion (la mora or verduno for example). There are too many wines to choose from so luckily the co-owner and possible local mayor, Massimo, will help you choose what you want. Do not leave without trying the best panna Cota in the world. Go for lunch or dinner. We ate there twice in 18 hours. It is closed on Monday, I think. Plan on 2-4 hours for your meal. Ancora means more, Basta means enough. Enjoy! read more
