What a spectacular osteria! I knew from previewing the menu that this was the place for an authentic Piemontese food experience. It's rustic, charming, and just as it should be for a cozy osteria. Make your reservations, though. I was turned away the first night, got smart and booked the next day. What a treat! I was traveling alone, and the very kind, helpful, informative server (and part owner I believe) made sure I had the best experience. He was patient and took time to visit with me about the menu, answer any questions, and just make me feel like I had a new friend. The food was of excellent quality; I enjoyed it so much. His wine recommendations were excellent, too, and I was even gifted with a glass of a fabulous local dessert wine to accompany my "bunet" dessert. Overall probably the best dining experience of my 9 days traveling solo. Hopefully I can return here again with my husband in tow! read more
