Pistachio creme brûlée. So ridiculously good.

We absolutely loved our final meal in Italy at Trattoria da Pietro! We were so lucky to walk in and get a table with no reservation at 7:30. Everyone after us was turned away in preparation for their 8pm reservation rush. I highly recommend getting a reservation! Wonderful food the ragu was good but the star pasta dish was the tortelloni with ricotta and spinach in sage butter sauce. So rich but so good. We also got dessert that was amazing. Great little place with excellent food.

Decent place for lunch. Fresh pasta, so that is a plus. With that being said, their tagliatelle Bolognese was pretty good in comparison to other local lunch spots. Decent lunch specials - the boar was tasty. Service left something to be desired so we didn't stick around for dessert or coffee.

My friend and I were in Bologna for two nights. The first night we had such a good experience at this place that we went there again for dinner the next night. The florentine steak is absolutely delish. The pasta dish with rabbit is very good, and the Bolognese was delightful. We did not particularly like the beef tartare but that could be a preference thing. Enjoy this restaurant, it is one of the best that I have discovered so far in Italy.

Tried there three times and while everything said OPEN, it never was. My guess is it hasn't been open since COVID

Osteria Broccaindosso - Tagliatelle Al ragu (2nd of the 3 pasta sampler) and the best I've had yet. The ragu was meaty and really flavorful.

They didn't have any tables outside so we were seated inside. Service (3.5/5): No WiFi unfortunately which isn't great for an international traveler like me. Standard European service. Not terribly friendly and not terribly efficient but I would say they were a bit more attentive than the norm. They did hook us up with some complimentary limoncello shots which was a really nice touch. Ambiance (3.5/5): A little quieter since it's off the beaten path which I like. A pleasant, homey restaurant. Drinks (4.5/5): We shared a bottle of wine. And the aforementioned limoncello shots. Food (4/5): We went with their pasta for two deal where each person gets three different types of pasta that you choose from six or so options. I love getting a variety of dishes so this was a nice way to do it. Not huge portions given the price but still delicious. The dishes were served to us quickly and we got to try some pastas we had never heard of. Overall: When in Bologna, Osteria Broccaindosso makes for a fine choice. It's a 15-minute walk or so from the center of town.

All of the pasta choices were super tasty and very much enjoyed dinner. We tried 3 different wines and they were all also very good. Our main courses ended with tiramisu and apple cakes, which were also delicious. The staff was friendly and spoke enough English to communicate with us. Food came out hot and fast and we very much enjoyed every bit. This restaurant is highly by a group of foodies from Seattle!

A fantastic way to begin the meal. The lasagne verdi al forno was the highlight. Sublime, classic, and perfectly executed. This is traditional Bolognese cooking at its best. We asked the host to choose a bottle of Sangiovese for us, and we were very pleased with the selection. He picked something mid-range from the wine list, which we genuinely appreciated. Thoughtful, honest, and perfectly matched to the food. We also ordered friggione as a side, and it was excellent. Sweet, slow-cooked, and full of flavor. The only dish we would skip next time is the polpette, which were a bit dry for our taste. That said, everything else was so good that we are happy to forget about them and confidently give five stars. The restaurant is small and cozy, with only about ten tables, so reserving in advance is strongly recommended. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and everyone was kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. A true Bolognese experience. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing artichoke and cheese concoction with a shredded artichoke salad on the side. The pastas were all very good. The bolognese had tender meat with a tasty sauce. The tortellini in beef broth is also a local winter dish. The tortellini were filled with a nice mixture of beef and cheese with a full bodied beef broth. A simple but delicious dish! I'm usually not a truffle fan but the spaghetti with black truffles had a good balance of truffle flavor without being overpowering. The scalloping with cheese and Parma ham was tasty.
