My contacts have all been professional, informed, helpful, and friendly. Calls were answered…read morequickly and responsively. I am concerned that the recent sale of the locally owned Seattle area franchise to the national organization will alter that. The national call center is not yet programmed for our zip codes so, after a 35 minute hold, I was routed to an agent in Georgia and then from there to D.C. to respond to my requests for help in the Seattle area. Neither agent could do anything for me but both were courteous. I am now waiting for a response to get services scheduled. I would have used someone local if I had known.

I gave Critter Control 2 stars because their treatment initially worked. We signed a one-year…read morecontract for monthly preventative maintenance against raccoons and paid a $700 startup fee just to begin service. After that, we are billed $100 each month only after the monthly service is completed. The technicians came for the first two months, and the raccoons disappeared. However, they completely missed the June service and also failed to show up in July. As a result, the raccoons are back in our yard. The entire purpose of paying such a significant startup fee and committing to a yearly contract is the consistency of monthly preventative maintenance. When I called customer service, they minimized my concerns instead of addressing the missed appointments or offering a meaningful solution. The product itself proved effective, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. Unfortunately, the high startup cost, failure to honor the agreed-upon service schedule, and poor customer service make it difficult to recommend this company.

After 3 weeks they had trapped 8 beavers which appear to have solved our problems. Rick and his crew ( namely Sebring) have done a fantastic job on both trapping the beavers but also communications with me on the continued path forward. Search for "Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control" (their other name) and read the reviews there for more accurate descriptions of their services. A tip: if they reassure you that their methods are reliable and work well, just know that's NOT TRUE for everyone, and they'll do absolutely nothing to help you after you've already sent them the set-up fees. They caught one squirrel that wasn't even one of the ones that live in my attic, and left it in the trap a full 24 hours before picking it up, which made all the other squirrels avoid the traps from then on. I'm holding back tears as I write this, because I feel so confused, frustrated and misled, as I try to WFH while listening to the squirrels running around in my attic. Note that the employees I've interacted with are friendly and kind. But the company's management and approach to pest trapping are totally lacking and unhelpful.
