The person who showed up was not with sound pest but was with Fikes. He spent all of 5 mins walking through my house and sprayed an aerosol can that costs I believe $29.99. He did not spray in under or around anything. This was also not the description of service that was provided to me through yelp. I called to complain immediately after. I have also called to talk to a Manager multiple times. They always state they will call me back and never do. It might have been a great company before it was sold but do not let the historical positive reviews fool you this is not under the same management as before. Go somewhere else for service.

I was a repeat customer, for a problem that turns out they may not have eradicated the first time. I think these guys are good and do good work... IF they're able to solve it in that first visit. In two separate paid visits now, the "follow-up" appointments to check their work that THEY INITIATE get canceled. This last time, they rescheduled SIX TIMES, all last minute, after the time they were supposed to have shown up, or without any warning at all other than a "reschedule text" later. Do NOT pay your invoice after that first visit until you actually KNOW the problem has been solved, because the "free" follow-up appointments have been canceled last minute way too many times. And this was with written acknowledgement that the job had not been completed. I will share their "understanding" and empathetic "we're standing you up again" template here. Considering they started repeating excuses, I'm surprised they didn't accidentally send me the template itself: "Good morning, [customer]. We sincerely apologize for the [short notice, confusion, inconvenience]. Unfortunately, the technician assigned to your service has informed us that he is [sick, injured, forgot ladder, custom]. We appreciate your understanding, as this situation is beyond our control. Would you be available to reschedule your appointment on [Mon-Fri] (##/##) between ##:## and ##:## [am/pm]. Please let us know if this works for you, or kindly share your availability. Thank you for your patience and understanding." Honoring their appointments is NOT outside of their control. It's baffling a service provider would write this -- I will help translate: "We make one attempt at a job and then invoice you, stand you up multiple times for our advertised and self-initiated follow-up appointments, and then straightfaced gaslight you over text. Thank you for your understanding. We count on you being flexible, infinitely tolerant, reasonable and professional when workmanship issues arise, so that we don't have to be."

He injected poison into the walls of the house where the colony had set up residence, sprayed in the crawl space, and did a perimeter spray. Boy, was that effective! Yesterday we killed over 100 carpenter ants who fled into the house to escape the poison, and thankfully the numbers have tapered off quite a bit today. I had them do…read morerodent services in my crawl space and around the exterior of my home. 5 years after receiving services, in 2021, not a month after I found out I was pregnant with my only child, that my doctor's told me would be hard to convince, and during COVID they suggested the only a crawl space clean out and some repairs to my crawl space. I was high risk due to my age and COVID, I was fearful to have anyone enter my spaces at home as I was not going in public unless necessary. My son was born later that year and time passed. No other suggestions of crawl space clean out or any repairs. Last month I wanted to install a HVAC unit and the contractor said that they couldn't do the project until my crawl space was taken care of, they found a rat in a trap and other rodent issues they deemed unfit for their staff. The condition of my crawl space is bad, installation in areas ruined, vapor barrier torn in places, burrow holes, feces. Sound Pest Control is taking not any responsibility, washed their hands clean of it. After all the years of paying them to mitigate a rodent problem they failed me. Basically laying traps and refilling them for over 10 years with nothing more. They say no contracts but be warned you should because everything should be in writing. Especially with how the turn over is with their staff. No accountability.

Their own sales department confirmed my service was cancelled with no balance due. Then showed up at my property days later with no communication. -Billing errors, blank invoices, management unresponsive to dispute. I've now had to dispute the charges with my credit card company, cancel my card, and have filed a complaint with WA Consumer Protection. Save yourself the headache - use literally any other pest control company.

Jereme from Bulwark came and and was friendly and understood the task of getting this huge (basketball size nest) out of the tree. It was toward the top of the tree and he got to down, sprayed the area of the tree and also the bees that fell down. He picked up the nest and took it away.
