I will NEVER go to Trapp Cadillac for anything. Let me start by saying I KNOW that its first come first serve when purchasing a vehicle!! I was looking for a Cadillac xt6. As I was browsing the lot a salesman name Allen came to assisit us. They had one on the lot however I didn't like the color. Allen then proceeds to tell us that he had a XT6 Sport that just came in with 2569 thousand miles on it. However it was in the certification proceess and that he would call us the next morning. I was excited and really wanted to see the color(Midnight Sky Matallic). While I was wating for Allen's call I went look at another XT6 Sport at another dealership. However the one at Trapp Cadillac was still on my mind. So I left the dealership and headed back to Trapp with hopes that the XT6 Sport was out of the certification porcess. We arrived at Trapp and was able to talk to Allen. We asked if he had checked on the XT6 Sport he said yes he did. His body language gave the vibe that he was not telling the truth. Allen then porceeds to tell us that I will go check and see where its at and how for along the certifiacation was. Meanwhile there is another couple looking at vehicle. Well the manager there came and asked us if Allen was helping us and we said yes sir he is. The manager then proceed to take the couple in the vehicle they had just test drove and heads to the back of the dealership. My gut told me he was bringing they look at the one we was there to look at. Then Allen come in about 10 minutes after the manager took the couple to the back of the dealership. Allen then tell us that oh the XT6 Sport was locked in the detail shop and that it was in the final stages and that it should be ready by Monday and that he would give us a call. Again Allen's body language told me he was not telling the truth. So we got his card and we left, but not before we went ride to the back of the dealership. As we approched the service area we saw the vehicle that the manager took the other couple in and saw that the manager was in the supposedly LOCKED detail shop showing them the XT6 Sport that we were inquiring about not only that day but the day before as well. As we exited the parking lot we saw Allen taking the other couples vehicle for the appraisle. Had they been honest with us and not made us look like fools and feeling like my money wasn't good there I would have gotten them too see if they could find me another one. In fact I was going to see if the could get the one I had looked at at the other dealership just so that I could keep my tax dollars local. Not only did they loose my buiness but the service departmant also lost my business because I bring my vehicles to the dealership for routing maintance. For a little FYI the XT6 Sport was over priced according to the Kelly Blue Book Value!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AND THEIR SALESMAN!!! read more

I will NEVER go back to Trapp for service. My car reached 98,000 so I took it to Trapp for maintenance since it was close to reaching 100,000. They popped one of my tires and replaced it with my spare (donut) tire!! Seriously? How is that acceptable? I didn't have a spare on when I arrived, why would you think it's okay to let me leave with a spare!!!? After I expressed how that was not acceptable, they replaced the tire. I then got in my car and realized none of my tire pressure sensors were working (they were working fine upon arrival). I questioned about the sensors and was told they must have died (coincidence?) but that I could purchase new ones for $100+ each!! No thank you. Guess what, I took my car somewhere else for tires and my sensors all work.. wanna know why? They didn't die. They just needed to be reset. (I could have wasted $500 on new sensors for absolutely no reason!) I also asked if my transmission needed service and Brian told me it wasn't due yet. After leaving and not having any confidence in the service I received, I opened my manual again to verify I didn't need the transmission serviced because I thought it was due (figured since he was the service guy he knew what he was talking about). Sure enough it is recommended once you hit 97,500 miles! I was not able to make another appointment right away due to COVID but once I received an appointment elsewhere, I already had 103K miles on the car and was told I am too far over the recommended mileage! It should have been taken care of when I initially went to Trapp!! Like I said, I will NEVER return and I'd advise others against it as well. read more

I'm sure not all mechanics are the same, but the ones I dealt with over here are rip offs. They only do what they have to do, they don't search for the real cause or go the extra mile to repair the real problem. I purchased a used car, 40K miles. The coolant temperature gauge inside the motor, guess that's what you call it, was faulty and light was on dashboard. It took me four trips and a lot of cursing to get them to fix the problem. They told me to go out of town to another repair shop, and get it fixed and give them the bill, I don't think so. You would think for a fairly new vehicle, it would be in pretty darn good shape. I had over 5 recalls within one year. OMG. By the way, I was fighting with the service manager, Trapp Chevrolet is a trap for sure. Never ever go back to them. Never never. I purchased a truck from this dealership 4 years ago and now in wont of new car BMW the one on their web site. The. first representative was great if you don't wont repeat costumer over the phone. I asked to speak with a manager He did worse and make sure I documented it so others wont have to deal the their total lack of customer service. He is how it went. I called about the BMW the one listed on the web site. She made it seem as if they had others but not listed. Trapp only had the one I called about it was not a good call she was not trained to be on the phone. Next I asked to talk to the sales person that was used before she could not find him. So I finally asked to speak to a manager on the BMW. (He in my opinion the worst manager in the world) He was not available but did call back. I spoke with him briefly, real short horrible customer service. He said the price you see on line is the best he could do no negotiation period and we all know that is not the truth. I did 20 years in the Military and helped young service members with this type of salesperson/company. Please don't deal with a company that wont budge on their marked up prices please walk away from them. I will not be a repeat customers and do NOT recommend anyone use this company based on my experience with them. Please don't use them. read more

Biggest mistake buying from Trapp. I haven't even had my truck for a year and I've already had to bring it in so many times to have things fixed or replaced. Most of the time they try and say nothing is wrong with my truck. Within the first 4 months my front struts went bad and had to be replaced, my little girls seatbelt broke when we were in Lafayette on the way to Texas to visit family and had to be replaced, my front crossmember bolts had to be torqued and so did my rear leaf springs (the next month they ended up replacing both the left and right springs), my driver door window was malfunctioning it didn't want to roll up or down and when you pressed the button my sensor for my door would come on and say my driver door was open. They said nothing was wrong when they checked it, but my wife has a video on her phone of it acting up (we also sent them that video). My remote start was acting up and they said nothing was wrong with it as well. I have to deal with rough idling because they told me they currently don't have a fix for that yet. My truck has a ticking noise that's getting louder that they said was normal. My leaf springs are still popping and now my audio is messing up when we try and connect our phones. I've had nothing but issues with this vehicle and what's worse is that I went to try and see if I could get another vehicle to replace this garbage one I have, Trapp ends up trying to screw me over. They want me to pay an arm and a leg for a new truck and give me 1/3 of what my 2017 Chevy Silverado costs. I have 15,000 miles on it (it was a demo truck with 7,000 miles on it when I bought it). If you're smart you'll avoid this dealership like it's the plague. read more

I will NEVER buy a vehicle from TRAPP Chevrolet ever again.. 2 years ago I brought a 2007 Yukon from them....I recently decided that I was going to trade my Yukon in due to the miles....upon trying to trade it in I was told that I could get the full value of my vehicle due to the fact that my vehicle was involved in a "moderate" accident....which I knew nothing about....I have had issues with my salesmen Al before....there were a few things that needed to be fix on my vehicle prior to me finding out this info and I called Al to get it taken care of which he did but I also had my vehicle 3 months before that was even taken care of....so once I call the dealership to make a complaint about the situation the sales manager Kenneth listens to my problem like he's suppose to....upon me finishing what I had to say he then proceeds to say well did u ask for a car fax on the vehicle...because if u didn't ask for one he didn't have to tell you( I thought if you want to keep someone business you have to take care of the customer.....but I see I was wrong) I than said yes I asked for one on the first vehicle that I was going to purchase Al called me and said he found a better deal so I assumed that he would have checked it for me but I guess that's why I got the better deal because of them knowing about the carfax and that the vehicle was involved in an accident..... Kenneth then proceeds to say well what if I can tell I can get you out of that vehicle.....what part of I'm NEVER doing business with TRAPP EVER AGAIN didn't he undertstand....I can never trust them again....not only and I upside down with my vehicle but to get out of it I would have to put a big down payment or settle for a vehicle I don't want...I am very DISSATISFIED read more
