La Mezcalera I must admit: I didn't know that tequila was actually a type of mezcal until I was informed of this by Diego V. right here in La Mezcalera. How did I not know this? Anyway, educate yourself here about the wonders of mezcal. Conveniently located across the street from El Dandy. The street is full of bars, karaoke spots, grub, etc. This is not what you're used to on Avenida Revolucion (if you went clubbing 10+ years back). Tasca and Shot Factory are the must visit spots if you're looking to have a good time with a good mixture of both locals and people visiting from the states. Sip on some mezcals while you're at it! Catch an Uber from the border and save yourself the hassle of having to haggle with the cab drivers!
