When I'm in the mood of trying new things and having an extensive variety & options I definitely go to this place, IT'S MY FAVORITE!!!! It's my go to place if I just want to chill and have some beers. When you get there at first from the outside you may question yourself if it's that place but once you go in it's so cool, underground vibes, tables are big and long, if you want to go with your crew it definitely it's a great place to hang and have some drinks. The food is good, mostly appetizers, I've had buffalo wings and the pizza and I liked the Buffalo wings better. If you're from out of town you're going to like it specially because of the variety of beers they have it's amazing. Definitely go check it out! read more

I had had BCB Tasting Room bookmarked for the longest time after hearing about it by several friends and I am definitely glad I tried it in October 2017. BCB is conveniently located in the Gabilondo neighborhood near many other popular restaurants and bars. I took an Uber after crossing into Tijuana, which took around ten minutes. The first thing that I noticed and liked was the design. BCB has a very modern and trendy look that makes it very relaxing. The lights are dim which gives off a slight romantic vibe or date night spot. I had wanted to visit BCB because the menu is so diverse and I was not disappointed in that regard. They offer craft beers from San Diego, Mexico, Europe and just all over. I tried BCB's pilsner and it was great. I would have ordered more but I had a reservation at Los Arcos. And if you happen to get thirsty while you are sampling the beers try the BCB Fries (garlic fries). They are seasoned fries with cheese and a cream sauce at the bottom. The portion size is large enough to share. The prices seem to be fair and a bartender will type in the Wifi password if needed. Tip: Bring your appetite as Verde y Crema is right across the street and is very delicious from what I hear. And as I say about many places in Tijuana, I am already wanting to return. read more

This place is huge! They have a ton of beers on tap and bottled to choose from. You cannot come here and say there wasn't something for you. I had a really good time. This place is not pretentious what's so ever. The guys working there were really nice, giving us tasters, telling us about the local breweries and who they've collabed with on special brewing projects. I was around the area one night, trying to make my way to a restaurant near by when I stumbled upon this bar. I only saw it from the outside and I hard lounge music and it had a cool vibe to it. I had to come back and check it out, and so I did. The inside has a cool industrial layout, very spacious and open, but beware... this place gets packed. if you come with a large group you'd be better off making a reservation or getting here early (like around... 7ish) Service is amazing when compared to the other breweries in town, and their selection is pretty wide. I don't know much about beer, but my friend who is a huge beer snob loves it here because they have exclusive/rare brands, so I'll take his word on it. Last note: They ONLY serve beer here. This is by far one of the best craft beer tasting rooms in TJ! Shoot, they have a much better ambiance in comparison to some of the tasting rooms here in SD. The decor is quite awesome and had an industrial feel to it, with plenty of seats. The crowd is pretty hipster, with a good mix of locals and San Diegans. The beer list is extensive and you'll find everything from local Baja beers to sours from Belgian. Whether you want something on tap or some special edition beer on bottle from Europe, they've got plenty on hand for everyone to enjoy. Hungry? They have some tasty pizza and other typical bar grub that'll pair well with your cold pint. If you're tired of the same old Coronas or Pacificos you'll find elsewhere in TJ, BCB is worth the visit! read more

Been here 2 times so far, and both times have been great. Service is always good and they have a wide selection of beers to try. In the fridges particularly, they have dozens and dozens of different bottles from various countries. The overall atmosphere is great and has a trendy feel. Hello - TJ ain't what I used to barf around in, when I went to college in San Diego years ago. This new TJ is bossy - it's hip, it's knowledgeable, it's an exploration that doesn't frighten you. BCB was a place we heard about from some locals that were into craft beer, and the place did NOT disappoint. Clean, cold, dark bar atmosphere but still very hip and industrial looking on the inside. DOZENS of taps, bringing to you a bevy of brews both local and imported. The food was amazing - I am horribly lactose-intolerant but endured through the BCB fries which are fries lounging in a bowl of hot delicious cheese sauce. GO HERE IMMEDIATELY. Cross the border, get some fries, and sip on some local favorites. Tristan Fauna was a favorite of mine. Go immediately! Get lost in TJ and come back with Bourdain-esque stories! read more

As I walked in the tasting room looked very urban, very chic industrial. It reminded me of maybe the Other Room on Abbot Kinney in Venice or a bar one would find in New York City. They had a huge list of craft beers including local beers from Tijuana. From my understanding this is one of two of the best craft beer tasting rooms in Mexico. If you love craft beer and in Tijuana, you won't want to miss a visit to BCB Tasting Room. I brought home with me two of their recommended local craft beers. read more

I didn't care for their brew much, so dark inside, but decor is good not a dive. They have food looks good we didn't eat though.

This place has an amazing beer selection! I was very impressed with the size of the drink menu. I always order the rib eye burger here because it's delicious and it comes with amazing French fries. No matter what your taste selection in beer is I'm sure they have something you'll like. I haven't tried anything else on the menu but from what I saw being passed around the food looks decent. Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of beer. I couldn't even finish the small sampler glass... But this place was pretty cool! Their beer menu was huge, like 4-5 pages. You can get a sampler sized glass for any beers they have on tap and mine was only $0.75! My friend got a bottle of something and it was $3 so overall the prices are awesome! The interior was super dark but modern and clean. When I was in there, it was all Americans so I'm guessing a lot of tourists from the U.S. come here. read more

Second time here and although it is a bit difficult to find, you really can't beat their beer selection and ambiance. So many local breweries on tap, including Muneca Prieta which is like the smallest ever but clearly the tastiest. I'm writing this review as I am sitting here after 15 minutes of not getting any service. They don't have anyone checking you in and/or directing you on the open/reserved seating. Someone who looked like the manager indicated that he would have a waiter over AND the waiter never came. There are waiters just sitting around not even trying to look busy. This place is what you're looking for if you are a San Diegan gringo looking to try a bunch of Mexican craft beers. Same of course goes for local Mexicans who are part of or support the amazing entrepreneurial revolution in beer, cocktails, and local food happening south of the border. If you're "scared" to check it out (in addition to all the other amazingness baja offers) then please stay home. More for us who know where it's at! Aquamala, calafia, fauna, muneca, wendtlandt, border psycho, insurgente, ramuri and a few others in addition to their bcb in house releases. But don't stop there... The bottle and draft list also featured extensive Belgian offerings as well as other European selections from erdinger, Brew Dog, schofferhofer, Sammy Smith. And then there are the American brews: dogfish head, donkey punch, flying dog, Avery, allagash, boulevard, obvious socal- stalwarts like Firestone, lagunitas, Stone, Strauss, modern times, pizza port. Oh and my dude tried the wings which he said were good and fine. I'm sure other food is perfectly edible considering the truly amazing lupulin concoction in your glass. This place is very nice!! I had the "Tabla de Quesos y Carnes" which in my opinion it should have more "jamon serrano." However, the BCB craft beer is very good. A little bit pricey for the food and quantity. But, in BEERS they are as expensive as some other places. Give it a try, there's nothing better than to try it yourself. read more

Just discovered this place and can't wait to go back. Easily the best beer selection I've ever seen in Mexico with 42 beers on tap, about half of which are from Baja. Huge bottle selection as well from all over the world. Took an uber from here to the border and it was only $2.75. Can't beat it. read more
