Honest opinion from someone that moved to Kent and lived there for 7 months. First day I moved in I…read morewoke up to a cockroach crawling on me. That was the start of a very long 7 months. I invested hundreds of my own dollars on fixing that problem alone. Bought door sweeps, filled in every open hole in the floors, walls, cabinets, etc (there were dozens) and laid traps in every corner of the apartment. I also sprayed cockroach spray bi-weekly. This problem was a constant the entire time I was there and there was very minimal attempts to fix it from the front office. I stopped having food in my kitchen due to the amount of times I found cockroaches in there, which still didn't fix the problem. The overall state of the building is as you'd expect of an old building. Old, smelly, run down in some parts more than others. The people were rarely ever a problem they all seem nice enough but everyone I talked to had the same issues with their rooms as I did. The disposals rarely worked, the sinks would fluid, didn't have hot water for certain times. I would not move in here again if I could go back and do it all over again. I tried to save myself the problems of signing a lease with people I never met so I ended up spending thousands of dollars on a roach motel.
