The main elevator/validation area is an orange colored room that is accessed from the alley on Blackberry Street. There is a sign that says elevator which is attached to a pole. Look for it. The rest of the necessary: Parking available 24 hours daily, 7 days a week including holidays for monthly parkers only. Facility has a cashier on duty from 7:15am to 11:00pm. Lost tickets pay the 24-hour rate. Closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day. Travel options are few and far between at best. Last train on Saturdays are at 7:05 pm. No outlets to plug and charge your phone, yet they have a box with chargers for $8 to rent. This station is also connected to the Greyhound Bus Terminal (in the back), yet the seating area is closed at 10 pm leaving waiting passengers sitting outside in the wee hours of the morning awaiting the Flix|Fullington|Greyhound buses. Amtrak really needs to update this station.

I had to press the intercom and the people who answer are literally the MOST incompetent people I have ever dealt with! I told them the situation and they told me "you need to pay the fee" did you literally not hear everything I told you about what happened?! your machine ate my ticket and card. Im pregnant and fuming trying to get to an appt and the guy told me "to calm down". I literally told the guy I was pregnant, who tells a pregnant woman to calm down?! They also kept telling me to cancel the transaction, when there is literally not a cancel button. After 10 minutes of arguing with these people, after a lady got on instead... she let me go through after taking my name and phone number. You guys need to upgrade your machines, or hire someone to sit at the parking station there. I would also consider hiring new people who actually want to do their jobs because these people were so ridiculous. You cannot hold people hostage! We…read moreretrieved a ticket stub upon entry about 4:45 PM today (6.15.24) and parked our vehicle on Level 1. We went across the street to eat dinner then returned to the parking garage about 6:00 PM. There was no attendant on duty. We paid $5.00 on a credit card using the machine on the ground level which is what the instructions said to do. We pressed the button to get a receipt, but nothing came out of the machine, no receipt, and the ticket was retained inside the machine. The credit card transaction showed pending, so it definitely was charged for $5.00. We then proceeded in our vehicle back to the ground level but the rail was across the exit. There was a sign stating, "you are on camera, etc." There was no way to get out of the garage, so we pressed the button. Someone came onto the speaker, but she was incoherent, and said something about not being able to let us out because we didn't have the ticket. We explained that the ticket did not come back out of the machine after paying. She was unresponsive. So then I called the number that was on a sign "call for immediate assistance" but they could do nothing to help us to get out of the garage. I said I was about to call the police because they were holding us there and wouldn't let us out even though we had paid. The guy hung up on us. So we pressed the intercom button again, and a different person came on, this time we could understand the lady named "Dorothy." She said to tell her the last 4 digits of the cc number which we did, and she said there was no transaction. We said, yes it is pending on the card. She said, "as a courtesy, I am going to open the gate." Wow, "a courtesy"??? They basically were holding us captive in my opinion, over what?? $5.00 which we paid. This should be illegal!! This garage is the worst garage I have ever parked in!
