The doctor made sure to find time for me to come in to the office to hear my concerns and make sure I felt confident in his approach, explained the tactics that he took to ensure my procedure was safely executed, and was able to rectify a tiny area where he felt he could safely perform a touch up. His approach is to ensure the work is done SAFELY at the forefront, and after I expressed how I was feeling, he wanted to guarantee patient satisfaction. It is rare to find a doctor who can blend the two together, and I appreciate how well this was handled. His staff is extremely professional, empathetic with anxious patients and were extremely helpful from my first appointment and with my second appointment. Co2 laser is an intimidating procedure. If you are interested in having it but feel hesitation due to how intense this type of laser is, then you are in good hands with this doctor. He is gentle and safety is his priority, but will make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommend!!

I appreciate that they refunded the additional sessions I purchased, but nothing was offered for the session that didn't deliver results. Have recently changed to a different Laser Away location because of my experience at this location…read more Overall, the nurses and nurse practitioners who have done my laser services have been wonderful and I thank them! My experience was more so lacking and disappointing due to the customer service end of things. To start, on my 1st appointment was "tricked" into changing my package as a sale was going on. I was told that my legs would be FREE with the current promotion they were running. I was handed a tablet to sign but was not told or shown any price and didn't think at the time (which in hindsight I realize was naive) that I would be paying anything as I was told it would be FREE. When I called the center afterwards and Comenity - there was no way to undo this. So from the start, I was not happy but I still continued to attend the location afterwards - chalking it up to me being naive and not asking questions but the frustrations continued. Very often I would arrive to my appt and be told I would have to wait longer due to staff being out. I understand this happens but it was quite frequent and I would have preferred a call or prior notice. A lot of times I'd have other plans afterwards or work that would be affected. One time; I also wasn't even able to do all my services because my appointment time was delayed by so much. My last disappointment where I decided it was time to find a new location was back in February. As you know we've had a very harsh and brutal winter. This location opens at 10 and I had my appt at that time. I arrived 10 minutes early, which is standard for me and i believe the right thing to do. I arrived to the door the same time as a worker. She looked at me with a not so nice or approachable look and I said "Hi, I have a 10 appointment, am I too early?" And she said "yes!" And just let herself in- although there were two other works inside and a lobby/waiting area. I was definitely upset because it was freezing out and I could've been waiting inside. Initially I thought maybe this person was a manager or maybe needed time to get things in order before opening, but again, there were two other women sitting inside at the front desk. In addition, I come to find out she was one of the nurses - as she performed my services that day, which was so awkward. I was very upset after the interaction and thought it was very unprofessional and not a good example of customer service ESP considering the harsh cold and turning me away. But I am not a rude person and would never make a big ordeal, so I just took the mental note and as mentioned earlier this you could say was my final straw and I knew I needed to find another location. The main reason I am sharing my experience is so no one else gets conned into a "free" service and then be financially responsible to pay more. This is the most disheartening part of my entire experience. I understand that this not reflective as the entire company - as I had a great first appointment at another location.

For the price, the experience and results just weren't worth it. My original appointment was scheduled for April 29, but got canceled due to a "double booking." I wasn't able to reschedule until a month later due to travel. That rescheduled appointment, now set for May 26 at a different location, also got canceled--again due to staff issues. (It also happened to be Memorial Day weekend, which made the situation feel even more avoidable.) I finally had my first session on June 6, over a month later than planned. The staff was nice, but honestly, the procedure was so basic I could've done it myself. The sales pitch made it seem like you needed a nurse practitioner to avoid risks like "polyps" or poor results, but the process was extremely simple and the difference was barely noticeable. Definitely not worth the hype or the price tag. I scheduled my second appointment for July 25, the earliest possible based on their 30-day policy--but surprise, it got canceled too due to another "clinical staff emergency." I was told one of the two clinicians was in a car accident (which is awful, of course), but it's pretty concerning that they only have two staff members handling everything. I'm now booked for August 7 in Hoboken. Today is July 24. Let's see if they cancel on me a fourth time. What started as something I hoped to complete by May might not even finish by August. Save your time and money--go somewhere private and more professional. This chain is just not it.

The place itself seems identical to the Williamsburg location but I like this one better. The receptionist was very friendly and helped me to schedule all of my appointments on the same date so I'm not coming to Laser Away a million times like I work here lol (not sure why they were scattered out to begin with) She also informed me of the update where we can be in the sun before/ after laser. I was concerned how was I going to be outside this summer with 8 treatments remaining. Glad it won't be an issue now. The woman who did my laser (I wish I would have gotten her name) was very informative and made me feel comfortable. This was my second session so I'm still pretty new. I added on a new service, my upper lip (because why be hairless everywhere else and still have a mustache?!) and the woman walked me through what it would feel like and even did a test on my neck before we began- I appreciated that. She was thorough and took her time making sure to get every spot. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to come back! I've seen amazing results after the first session so I can't wait to see if any hair grows back now.

However, when you have a complaint, no representative has an answer. I called three times to get an explanation of my services and a charge, and no one returned my calls. Instead, they emailed me, not giving enough information, and I decided not to follow up because I didn't want to get stressed with them and jeopardize my health condition. First, this is how it works with Laseraway. You must take a PatientFi loan if you can't pay the full amount. They don't tell you the interest on the loan. My interest on the loan is $625.38. The total price of my Brazilian armpit six sessions for both legs is $ 3,842.5, and your Cuchi will not be bold after completing your sessions; You will need to shape it. I understand that getting a laser treatment is a REDUCTION of your pupil's hair. To conclude, they're costly, have no follow-up, and don't embrace diversity. I don't recommend it at all. By the way, it's painful; don't you ever think you will feel a pinch as it is advertised on social media. Your cuchi gets red and swollen after the session, so think about it first.

Unfortunately, the write up this doctor pulled together was full of quotation marks and snary remarks basically mocking me. You can be seriously physically ill and have health anxiety simultaneously. A doctor should always put ego aside to think outside the box. I went to Dr. Weiss office in hopes of getting IV antibiotics for an infection of unknown origin . I was met with gaslighting and basically being dismissed as a hypochondriac. Drenching night sweats, seizures that put me in the hospital and ongoing severe GI distress had me out of work and terrified. I was quickly prescribed vitamin infusions as if my lack of vitamin D and iron was the problem. I was essentially told the chronic infections were due to my low iron and vitamin D and left my appointment feeling diminished and blamed. I was reluctantly given 7 days of iv ceftriaxone with a condescending attitude and my medical notes basically explaining there was no medical justification for this therapy other than a few Lyme bands. I still continued to decline after that therapy. I later learned I had yersinia enterocolitica infection which triggered autoimmune encephalitis after being relentlessly made to feel like I was looney. I went to a reputable infectious disease doctor and he dug to find out why I was so sick. My case was IV ceftriaxone resistant and only susceptible to aminglycosides and some others. I needed a picc line and im on IVIG for encephalitis. For out of pocket fees that this institute charges, people deserve to be met with sensitivity and validation not brushed off, met with patronizing remarks and basically told all they need is a magical vitamin IV. Just because you spiral when sick and assume the worst, doesn't mean your illness isnt real. A functional doctor should know better than to be callous and diminish someone who has fought a million health battles. Their job is to dig deep for root causes and validate patients.
