I went ahead and took pictures for you all to see the options on the menu, as well as the various interior of the parish Hall where the activity is held. They used to supply a DJ and music back in the day, but now it appears the only thing you're going to hear is the humdrum of a thousand conversations going on at the same time. She stated that they could help with the utility bill since it was only 140 but that's about it. There is singing, scripture reading, praying, then the sermon is delivered from the Holy Bible. The message is delivered in such captivating way with grace and occasional humor. One thing I truly like about the Church of Christ as a whole is if there is anything any in the audience dose not understand they are encourage to ask a questions and take out all confusion. After the message is delivered they take prayer request .Offering is taken up followed by the Lord supper. Once all of this is completed dismissal of service is around 10:00am. This is a rather a large church with a small parking lot but there is a lot of street parking close enough to walk to church. St. Bernadette has been my parish home my entire life. I remember when we moved far away, and how as a tween I would outright refuse to attend mass unless we could travel the distance to St. Bernadette. It's no secret that I stay away for extended periods of time, but the feeling of home always remains, and when I return I'm always greeted with a welcoming embrace from parishioners who've known me forever. We have two relatively new priests who are phenomenal, and the reason for my improved attendance on Sunday's, along with a lively choir. St. Bernadette is a very welcoming and diverse church. I especially love how children are embraced and celebrated. Babies don't have to sit in the quiet room, and at the end of Sunday mass a children's bulletin is offered and we get to watch all the little ones walk down the aisle​ to be handed a bulletin, I think that's extra special. He has called out staff to remind them that they are the first people we see when coming in and the exchange should be welcoming and warm.
