I can't say enough about Emily, she is a true healer. I've had terrible back pain for a number of…read moreyears, including a tough little ball between my shoulder blades. I've been working at a computer for 8-10 hours a day, for many years. The first time I saw Emily my issues all practically disappeared. Then of course they came back after a few weeks. This is going to happen if you don't change your habits. I went to see Emily and again my issues were relieved. Emily recommended changes in my posture and yoga poses I could do. She is also a certified yoga teacher! She also was able to explain my issues to me pointing to specific muscles, their connections, specific points of tension and were they arise from, as well as certain psychological and energetic blocks. She helped my get to the root of my problems and to change the underlying causes. I saw her another 2 times about two months apart, and then now I see her every 6-8 months, and my back pain and that tough little ball are gone! I've had a lot of Thai massage including many in Thailand, and I have to say Emily is up their with the best of them. I almost exclusively get Thai massages, because regular oil massages never feel like they are getting to the issues. Thai massage is a true medicinal, and spiritual, practice with a very long tradition. The sessions are normally 2 hours, which some people might think is too long, but once you are in there and you feel Emily hit every single problem spot in your body, time disappears. Be aware that the first massage can be intense and you might feel a little queasy afterwards. A lot of toxins get released from tense muscles as they are relaxed. Drink lots of water!

We work on "what's up" and I always go away feeling lighter, looser, more together. Emily is energy savvy - intuitive and knowing while connecting to your needs. As a practitioner of Thai massage, I can't say enough about her skill set and knowledge. She's studied in Thailand directly with some of the most empowered teachers and it shows. She is constantly learning and bringing more knowledge and care to the mat. Emily is truly the best I've ever experienced in this modality. We happened to see an aerial partnering course listed online while we were win town and decided to drop in. Neither of us knew what to expect considering we did not know what aerial partnering was until twenty minutes into the class. Despite our lack of skill, however, we had lots of fun learning partner poses on a giant trapeze and a couple poses on dangling strands of silk. The instructor was great and catered to our skill level while still attending to the more skilled members of the class. Afterwards, we stayed and practiced our newly found talent with the gym manager. Without realizing, two hours quickly slipped by, and were it not for our aching muscles we would have continued longer. Since I do not live in Santa Fe, I cannot comment on the regularly scheduled classes held during the weekday. However, if they are anything like the workshop we attended this weekend, I would highly recommend those active spirits out there to check it out. The Wise Fool Community seems very friendly and excited to share their passion.

I am impressed that Manny lacked 1) respect for US Veterans, The Church, funeral services, grieving families, etc. 2) respect for his employee who now suffers from mental distress from having been paid only $50 to dishonor fellow community members at church, and 3) the common sense or skill to identify ANY of the myriad of other locations/occasions that we unmistakably frequent which would have been unfathomably appropriate to serve a petty court document at. The level of service, and accuracy of the solutions, was simply outstanding. I've been a computer user for over 50 years (yes, you read that right), and have yet to come across someone with Zia's ability to rapidly and cost-effectively solve my problem.
