My son got his braces on 2 years ago (at age 11) & his bite was pretty severe. He just got his braces off recently & his teeth/bite are beautiful! The costs for braces are expensive so you may shop around, but definitely head back here when you're ready to move forward. Their prices are competitive (if your child has health insurance even if it doesn't cover orthodontics be sure to tell them at the initial consult & they will give you the discounted insurance rate). After you make the down payment they do automatic monthly payments over two years that are really reasonable. Making appointments is easy, they have 3 offices in NJ, & use a texting app to reconfirm the day before. Offices are new & lovely, with state of the art equipment including computerized imaging. Staff are very friendly, the entire environment is child-centered with Disney movies playing in the waiting room & all exam rooms to keep the kids busy. Dr. Mike has a great manner, very professional & knowledgeable with the parents, & kind/friendly with the kids - so it's a win/win. Not to mention the colored rubber bands that your child will get to pick at each visit! So, if your child (or yourself) needs braces, definitely head here for a perfect smile & great results!

I had already filled out the forms online so that saved a lot of time. First, I had x-rays taken and cleaning done by Gina who was very friendly and competent. Then, Dr Espinoza who was also very polite and friendly did the check up and recommendations. The office is in a quieter area of Bayonne so there was no problem finding street parking being that I'm a resident. Make sure you have a resident pass. If you're visiting from another town I would suggest parking on Broadway (metered parking). I'll keep going to Bayonne Smiles for my regular check up and treatment and will update my review afterwards.

After waiting in the car outside the office, 5 people were in line to get in, like they were giving something out for free. The Office is very crowded. Also, Bayonne office are only open on Thursdays. I was told you can only visit the my Ortho's office you sign up for. So when we seen the dentist, he was great. Informative, to the point and laid out a plan for my son's overbite. The assistant also on point and very helpful. Took photos, X-rays and checked in on us while we waited for dentist. My only issue is the crowded waiting room and open one day a week . If an issue happens and needs to be fixed, we can only go on Thursdays, bc they are only open one day a week. Office was clean and orderly. We have not signed up for treatment so cannot review that side.

I had requested to have my equipment removed before a big event, and that request was denied. Months later, I was given a permanent retainer after explicitly stating I did not want one. I was also being worked on by a student, and was stabbed in the mouth multiple times. I finally got my permanent retainer removed, however all the glue remained on the back of my teeth. During my 8 months with the permanent retainer, i was in the office every other week with a broken wire. Overall, the office is now under new, poor management and you should not bring your money to this business.
