Sloppy. I had to pay a LOT more to get this malpractice repaired properly…read more The absolute worst. I wanted to try, what I thought, would be an honest good place. Regardless of how polite and patient you are it didn't translate to a satisfactory repair. Zero trust. Got fleeced. Guy's nice enough. But when your car is brought back with smoke coming from the tires and a mechanic driving on seized calipers until the tires were stripped and had to pay MORE money to replace. You know it's trash. Above all, they broke my hood rod and didnt inform me of it. But promised to repair. Not a word until I brought it home and saw my grommet was missing. You do NOT forget something like that

Asked him how much for the diagnostic and he said don't worry about it. Instead of milking me for an obvious expensive job, not only did he let me go but he didn't charge me for diagnostic. A few months ago I brought a very old car with known issues. 97 Camry. I've had several mechanics look at it and they couldn't do much despite me paying them. Since this guy gave me a good deal last time decided to take it to him. After inspecting he said it'll be a major repair. Which I already knew from other mechanics. He said that it had a lot of problems and it's not worth repairing. He said that to give up on it cause if I take it to other mechanics, they'll just start repairing piece by piece and it'll add up. Which is what happened. TLDR. If you want an honest mechanic who won't take advantage, this guy is it.

I have a Mercedes and I used to just go straight to the dealership, but honestly... it gets ridiculously expensive fast. Grim's Garage responded to me on Yelp and I decided to give them a try. They did my Service B for a much better price than the dealership. More importantly, they actually checked the car over and made sure everything was working properly and nothing else looked off. I met both owners, David and Rafael, and they were super straightforward. They explain what needs to be done before doing anything and don't try to upsell you. Just honest people who clearly care about their work and reputation. Their shop is also clean and well kept, which I personally pay attention to -- it says a lot about how they treat customers' cars. They're officially saved in my phone now. Definitely recommend if you have a European car and don't want dealership prices but still want quality service.
