The facility is small but perfectly cozy and amenable to all of your needs including organic teas (with the coolest steeping devices I have ever seen and that is coming from a "tea snob"!) and cookies in the waiting lounge, five shower heads in the stalls (that was a first for me) and a scrumptious steam room with what smelled like a combo of rosemary and orange oils sifting thru my senses. None of this would have mattered however if the massage I booked were lousy. Quite the contrary, Emily was...and I say this with a decent amount of experience behind me in this regard, thee BEST massage I've ever had hands down (no pun intended)!!! Not only was the pressure just precisely what I needed for my chronically aching lower back, she used no annoying elbows or otherwise jolting body parts to make her point. Here's the huge kicker: I ordinarily find any sort of conversation beyond "how's the pressure?" during a massage to be the opposite of relaxing. I actually had a good conversation with Emily *while* being perfectly relaxed; didn't even know that was possible. Though with the exchange rate, the 30 minutes + facility use was on the steeper end, this was definitely a "you get what you pay for" kind of deal that was for the best. There are around 15 masseuse working the day I went because the place was very full in the waiting lounge which was a downside. They have a steam shower in the ladies room and a hot tub which I love! I wish there was also a coed one for me and my husband to meet up and hangout in but i can live without that. Don't even bother bringing your husband here this is the best place for YOU time. The beds were comfortable and they did offer a plastic cup of water. They advertised direct billing to insurance providers and we did not receive this either. I regret coming here.

The products used seemed fine, but it's all about the manual pressure on the scalp during massage! Please improve this treatment. Using a variety of tools would be ideal. Also, only about half of my scalp actually received the treatment due to my head being on a head rest, I feel like the therapist really needs to get in there and treat the whole scalp! Then the strangest email came stating they were uncomfortable with behaviour during the past massage.... WHAT!!! We are the most straight and narrow, well behaved people, and have no idea what Craig the owner is talking about. We have never had something like this happen, we are shocked, insulted and disappointed. I feel the need to write this review let people know to be aware that accusations here seem to be very loose! I hope they figure this out, and expect an apology.
