I absolutely LOVE living at Tramor at the Quest, and can't say enough great things about the management, maintenance team, location, the dog friendly aspect, and of course the modern and updated units. I've meant to write a review several times now because so many things have happened throughout my time living here that have left me feeling overly satisfied and just so fortunate to be living here. In general, some common themes are the management team is "on it", totally approachable and friendly, and go above and beyond to help. The maintenance team is also friendly, thorough, fast responding and efficient in their work.
Here's a more specific example of why the management and maintenance team are so wonderful: Last week I discovered that there was a leak beneath my bathroom sink and a substantial amount of mold growing there as a result (no, it wasn't black). When I reported it to the office, a team was over right away to take care of it, and they didn't just bleach it. They ended up tearing out the vanity, pulling up parts of the floor, and even replacing/repairing some sheetrock within walls that had been damaged, and did a chemical treatment of the place as opposed to just bleach (as I know from talking to many friends in other complexes seems to be the norm). I was SO THANKFUL that they took these repairs so seriously and were thorough and careful in their work. Because the chemical treatment smells were so strong, I stayed in a pet friendly hotel for two nights with my dog (which they'll reimburse for) while the apartment aired out (and the maintenance team went over to ensure my windows were closed at night, etc). Something else great was that Sarah, the manager, was emailing me while I was gone letting me know the progress of the repairs (everything was done in just a couple days, including replacement of the vanity which impressed me). Sarah even so thoughtfully and unnecessarily cleaned up my apartment floors after all the work had been done. I'm just so "wow'd" over each of these staff members, their commitment and how quickly all this was taken care of.
Another example of why the management is great-- a few months ago I was out of town and the dog sitter who was supposed to watch my pup never got in contact with me upon her arrival, which really worried me and had me concerned that my dog hadn't been tended to. I called the office and before I could even ask if someone could stop by and see if the sitter was there (and in my head I sort of thought it would be a long shot), Sarah was like "I'm going to head over there right now and see if she's there, and if she's not, don't worry I'll let your dog out and feed him. I'll call you back in just a couple minutes." I was BLOWN AWAY by this, and at that moment knew I absolutely picked the most awesome place to live, because the staff really cares about their people (and their pets), which is hard to find. As it turns out, the pet sitter was there and was just "not with it", but Sarah ensured me that in her conversations with the girl everything with my dog was completely fine (phew!).
Just a couple other reasons of why I love this complex-- I have a backyard! Yes, this is an apartment and it's not one of those cheesy ones that many other complexes claim to have that is really like a dirt slab a 3 foot tall fence (note: before finding the Quest I'd toured EVERY apartment complex in Austin with yards, and this is by far the best-- I have a 6 ft tall fence and the yard is BIG!).
The location here is also amazing. I have easy access to the major freeways and am right off of South Lamar, which is one of the most hip areas in Austin. In addition, the units are upgraded, offer a lot of natural light and mine even has an open kitchen overlooking the living room. Parking is also never an issue, for you or your guests, which is a huge plus.
All in all, VERY HAPPY to have ended up at Tramor at the Quest and will definitely be renewing my lease! read more
