I lived at Villas at Southport for four years in two different units and enjoyed my time there. The units are unique, the property is beautiful with lots of trees, and the location is great. There were some issues from living in older buildings. When it rained, water came into our kitchen from the path up to our front door and, if it rained really badly, it poured inside around the sliding glass door frame. During the summer, the AC struggled to keep up with the heat. That said, maintenance is kind and responsive. While there, the water heater in the unit above us burst, flooding our apartment. Management was helpful, giving us an extra unit to store our stuff in to avoid mold growth. They also let us transfer our lease the same week. However, they refused to give us a rent credit despite the cost of time off from work and incredible stress. Renters insurance covered the cost of our extensive property damage. Overall, my experience was positive despite some friction points. read more

The application and move-in process at Tramor at Oak Run was super smooth! I was approved promptly and they were flexible with my move-in date which was so appreciated. They were super helpful and responsive with any issues, including making sure the unit was spotless for me and quickly repairing some minor issues with the unit. This has continued past move-in as well, they always get back to my maintenance requests and are flexible with scheduling them since I have a dog in the unit. And a small but major thing, parking is great! I can always find a convenient spot close to my unit. read more

Going on my third year here! Leasing office staff is consistently lovely to work with, maintenance team is very professional and quick. One complaint is that management is sometimes more reactive than proactive with news / updates, like giving little to no notice on for loud renovations in the unit next door or water being shut off for pipe maintenance, etc. However, this has gotten significantly better in the last year so I hesitate to even mention it. Being an older property will of course come with its own issues, but overall I think we get a really good bang for my buck living in the 04. Several of my neighbors have been here for 7+ years, which is so rare! Dog community is strong, parking is always available and free. Sketchy parts of the surrounding neighborhood for sure, but I feel very safe within the bounds of the community. read more

I have lived here for 5 months as of today. If you are looking to move in here BE CAREFUL. A few weeks ago my car was stolen from right outside my residence. The management company says they have security patrolling the complex through the night, but they don't seem to have any affect on the actual security of the complex. On top of this there are ZERO security cameras in the entire complex, which makes your car a prime target for thieves. If you are thinking about moving in here I would recommend taking every measure to secure your residence, as well as your vehicle. The area around the residence is known to have a bad reputation, so only move in here if you are comfortable with this. read more

I have been a resident of Tramor at Oak Run for the past 3 years. I was looking for something centrally located and at a reasonable price. Erin helped me with the whole move-in process and she was amazing and delivered top-notch service and detail. These apartments were perfect. They are older but redone and have loads of character. I love all the trees around it, and the grounds are great for a night stroll. They are reticent and secluded. The management and maintenance staff are on top of things. Every time I requested something to get fixed, they did it promptly and efficiently. If you are looking for a nice quiet place with beautiful grounds, near downtown and great staff this is the place for you. They have plenty of apartment options that will fit your lifestyle. I loved my one-bedroom apartment and will miss it dearly. This became my home in the three years I was here. I'm moving to another state, otherwise I would have renewed my lease for a 4th year. read more

I have lived at Oak Run for a year now, and it has been one of my most favorite places to live! I love the culture of the complex- the people, staff, and the environment! I was lucky enough to get a unit on the greenbelt (highly recommend), and the view was amazing! The staff are very friendly and attentive, which is such a blessing when living in an apartment. It was a pleasure living here the past few years. If I wasn't moving out of Texas I would be renewing my lease. The rent is affordable for the location (being Austin, but also being in between Congress and Lamar). The front desk, especially Erin, were always quick to respond and were very helpful when we needed something. Maintenance was also quick to get out to our apartment if we ever needed them even after hours if there was an emergency. I enjoyed the grounds around our apartment the most. For being off the highway it was very wooded with lots of wildlife. Some cons that can't be helped - you're living across a hospital so there's sirens heard late into the night - there's a train very close by. Just down the road, but it doesn't blow its horn that late. You will hear it crossing though read more

I love my apartment and the Oak Run community! I moved to Austin a year ago for work and I'm so glad that I chose to live here. I was drawn to the charm and unique features that stood out from other apartment complexes. The property is surrounded by trees and has a beautiful greenbelt running through it. My unit gets a lot of natural light and I have a view of the greenbelt from my balcony. The residents are friendly and the South Austin location is quiet and tucked away while also being a short drive from downtown. The staff is amazing and very responsive! Erin has been so kind and helpful, and truly shows care for the community. Moving to a new city can be challenging, yet I am so thankful to live in a place that has a welcoming atmosphere and feels like home. read more

Covered in Oak trees, people out walking their dogs, hanging by the pool, playing pickleball on the new courts, a little piece of paradise in the middle of the city. Located right off of Ben White and I-35 making anything and everything easily accessible. Don't feel like driving? Shepard's Market is a short walk away, biking trails begin when you leave the property and South Austin Rec is less than a mile away. read more

I have lived at Oak Run for close to a decade and have enjoyed every bit of it. They have so many different floorplans to choose from (I have lived in 3 different ones myself!) and options for yards. Very close to every major highway, food, downtown, etc. I have loved living in this location and will miss South Austin. We bought a house or we would still be at Oak Run. It is an older property so expect some normal maintenance to need to be done. Maintenance is very prompt and communicative so don't let that deter you. I have never had any trouble with pests or anything like that. They have great amenities and if I wasn't such a shut in I would have used them more. There are 3 pools, a dog park, pickleball court and laundry facilities (if you don't have the hookups). Alright I'm going to wind this down I don't want to be writing a book I just wanted to give my honest feedback of my stay and I'm sure I left things out but the overall takeaway is, Oak Run is lovely and the atmosphere is chill. Can't get much better than that in the heart of a big city. Thank you Jenny for being an amazing property manager and Richy (If I misspelled I'm sorry!) the maintenance manager is top notch. The team at Tramor at Oak Run has shown me nothing but kindness and attentiveness over the last year. I had moved from North Carolina and was nervous about such a big change, but they all were a big help before the move and during my stay here. Every work order I submitted was taken care of quickly and effectively. I had a blast watching the solar eclipse this year at the event they hosted. I would've loved to have stayed in Oak Run longer, but I am moving in with my partner and needed a larger place. read more

I love living here! The property is large and hilly, with lots of trees. The office staff and maintenance folks are friendly and respond quickly. I asked for a handrail when I first moved in, and within a couple of days maintenance guys had built and painted one! Same with a request for additional outside lighting. The place has an idiosyncratic, Old Austin vibe and seems to attract interesting, creative tenants of all ages and backgrounds. Architecture and engineering seem to prioritize privacy, too! Tramor at Oak Run is a great community for apartment living. From the very start of my lease I have enjoyed living here. One major plus about this apartment complex is the dog park. It's absolutely massive! It is also a really easy place to make friends with. Maintenance employees and the leasing office employees have always been responsive as well. The complex has a brand new pickelball court as well! If I were not purchasing a home I would be renewing my lease in a heart beat. read more

I've been living at Tramor at Run of the Oak since December 2023, and I absolutely love it here! Erin, Grace, and Mia from the office are incredibly kind and always go out of their way to help. The community is very pet-friendly, and the maintenance staff is prompt and friendly. The apartments are unique, and mine is a loft with natural light, high ceilings, and a fireplace, which I absolutely love. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with gorgeous oak trees that give the property a serene and inviting feel. The location is perfect--close to South Lamar, shopping, and great restaurants. I had an overall very positive experience living at Tramor at Oak Run for 7 months! In my search I toured several Tramor properties and at each location the property management staff were super helpful and welcoming. The Tramor at Oak Run property is a bit older, however I think the company is updating each of the units before new tenants come in. I believe my unit had a brand new backsplash, countertop, bath tile, paint job before I moved in. This complex has lots of character, the pools and gym are small but just what I needed from them. Erin and the rest of the management/maintenance staff are prompt with responses to questions and maintenance requests. A few places for improvement would be being able to load your cash card for laundry in the laundry room, currently you can only load the cards during office hours. I had to get my tub drain snaked a couple times while living there (but it was fixed quickly), and the sport court area was under construction while I was there and despite it seeming like they were finished it wasn't open at all during my time there. I enjoyed my time here and I'd definitely recommend this community and management company! read more

Tramor Oak Run has been my home for 11 years! I highly recommend this place. The office staff, maintenence, pest control, and lawn care team all are very friendly and highly responsive to any concerns. The complex is unique in that it is like coming home to a resort or campground with all the tall beautiful trees. It is extremely dog friendly, which is one of the most important factors for me. The units are not cookie cutter, there are a mix of various types of dwellings including mine (a single bedroom with a very hard to find yard!) There is a dogpark,gym, at least 3 laundry facilities, and ample parking. You can also rent your own parking spot as well. The location is great. There is a convenience store within walking distance. I have never felt unsafe in this complex for any reason. I will miss living here so much, but moving out of town to be closer to family. Thank you, Oak Run! read more

Pros: Great location. Beautiful apartment--probably the coolest apartment I have ever lived in. It was a loft tucked into the trees, and I got a lot of natural light. I could always hear the birds and it was a really tranquil place to live. Maintenance team was always responsive and helpful. The staff is really fantastic too. Beautiful complex nested in the trees, close to everything, and the staff are extremely pleasant and personable. Cons: The onsite, shared laundry situation is kind of insanity. You have to load a card with cash, and to do this, you need to use a machine in the lobby of the leasing office. You're SOL if you need to do a load of laundry and you a.) don't have cash immediately on you and b.) the office lobby is closed and locked. The process of using the on-site laundry room can be an ordeal, with so many logistics required in being able to load and use your laundry card. The machine in the office is not always super reliable either. Sometimes it only takes ones. Also, it is expensive to do a load of laundry once you finally get your card loaded with money. I also stepped on a rusty nail once outside of my apartment because maintenance was repairing some old wooden planks in the walkway at my building. They left some debris in front of the steps to my door. I had to get a tetanus shot and was feeling the effects of that for a week. BUT even so, I'm giving the apt four stars. I really did love living here and appreciate the people, scenery, proximity, and apartment layout so much. The cons I included are fixable issues. I imagine that I should be more upset by the rusty nail thing than I am. Frankly, the laundry situation was much more annoying to me. The laundry issue is not the office staff's fault though. The overarching Tramor executive management really needs to replace that system. read more

Very beautiful, unique apartment complex in the 04 neighborhood. We had the 1bd/1ba loft unit which is cozy for a couple and two cats. Pros -management and maintenance team are friendly and responsive -laundromat on premises -beautiful walking trail with a creek -plenty of parking -quiet neighbors (never any issues with noise) -corner store within walking distance Cons -some laundry machines in laundromat are out of order and you won't always know it until you run a cycle -be careful if you get a unit that is "newly renovated;" ours had some issues like a kitchen cabinet coming loose and paint inside the cabinets peeling off -after some heavy rain, be VERY careful with falling branches (there are a lot of trees) -I personally have not used the apartment gym, but neighbors have said it isn't fully equipped, has some broken equipment, and you'll have to bring your own cleaning supplies due to COVID-19 Overall, this is a pretty good apartment complex for the price if you want to be in the 78704 area. read more

My husband and I have enjoyed our year here at Tramor at Oak Run apartments. The property truly is beautiful with a lot of trees and greenery all around, walking trails, and stream. The complex has a variety of different floor plans that are pretty affordable considering Austin's boom in cost of living, the location of the property (minutes away from South Lamar, South First, and South Congress and close enough to downtown), and the amenities provided (laundry onsite, gym, pools, Google Fiber connection, corner store, and adequate parking). We lived in the 1 BR/ 1 BA + Loft, and the vaulted ceiling floorplan was lovely. And the maintenance crew and team at the front desk are amazing! Can't say that about a lot of places. They are responsive, kind, empathetic, and get stuff done. We have really appreciated them during our stay! The only things keeping us from scoring the complex a 5 were some of the challenges we encountered with the laundry facilities, hard(?) water, and mail issues. Unfortunately, the onsite washing machines and dryers could be hit or miss. Had we been a little more realistic, we likely would have kept our own washer and dryer and paid a little more for a unit with a hookup (this IS an option here). The water in the complex was also a bit mineral-y (sink water has a lotion-like/slippery texture sometimes and our stainless steel cookware was always cloudy after washing), so we decided to invest in a water filter (and Barkeeper's Friend for cleaning our cookware after washing). Easy enough fix. Every apartment complex has issues. And in the grand scheme of things, these two issues encountered are small-scale. The bigger issue for us (a new issue since Christmas) is the mail issue. USPS and Tramor seem to be at odds regarding mail delivery of larger packages that don't fit in mailboxes. USPS has begun keeping packages at their South Congress office, sometimes after leaving a notice, sometimes not. Thankfully a lot of our packages arrive via FedEx and UPS and those are delivered directly to our door without issue, but for those that rely on USPS for larger packages, be aware. We have had to contact a few companies about deliveries that never made it to us. I'm sure Tramor is frustrated too, but I'm hoping they are able to problem solve and implement lockers of some kind or come to an agreement with USPS so residents can avoid the frustrations of this issue. Overall, the price, the location, the beauty of the property, the staff, and the amenities outweigh these issues EASILY, and we are so glad we were able to call this place home for the year we lived here. read more

I have loved living at Tramor Oak Run for the last six years! It's close to everything - south Austin food trucks and coffee shops, down-town Austin, Lady Bird Lake. It's conveniently located near Ben White which makes traveling easy. The property is well maintained and tree lined with a green space running through the middle that's great for dog walks! It's pet-friendly, complete with a dog park and poop bag stations throughout the complex. They have three well maintained pools that are great for dip in the hot Texas weather. Also, management and maintenance are both friendly and responsive with an on-site leasing office and good hours, including weekend hours! Oh and there's laundry! It's operated with a card that can be loaded in the main office which is nice! I just bought a house so I have to say goodbye, and although I'm excited for the new house adventure, I will miss this little community. read more

I've lived here for just under 2.5 years and overall it's been a great place to be. The countless trees and winding pathways with quirky landscaping drew me in right away. Watch your step at night, as not all areas are adequately lit. I HAVE experienced many of the issues others mention like large tree roaches (once one the size of my thumb ran across my chest at 2am when I was in bed asleep and I don't even know how I'm alive to tell the tale!). The guy who comes every other Monday for pest control is generous with the sticky traps, and those help. Now when it's roach season, he leaves a few at my door each time he's on site. When I first moved in there was a weird smell that turned out to be old rodent action under the kitchen sink and dishwasher. My dishwasher drain had a big hole chewed in it. It was all fixed and cleaned up quickly, and rodent traps were put out and monitored to make sure they were gone. I've had no rodent problems since. The laundry facilities have provided many comedic fails, and when I consider moving, it's usually with the fantasy of an in-unit W/D. A dryer chewed up a washcloth and a work blouse once. You have to recharge a money card inside the leasing office (cash only) during business hours in order to use the machines. Once mine ran out of money with wet clothes in washers and I had to lug it all to a laundromat late at night which SUUUCKED. Hopefully one day they'll instate an app for re-upping the cash cards. There are regularly one or two of the 6 dryers out of service, which is a minor inconvenience. The fact that packages are no longer being delivered to the office is a HUGE bummer, especially because the postal delivery person doesn't leave notices to say we have a package at the post office. At least she never has for me. This has been the situation for two-and-a-half months now, and still no parcel lockers (and there is plenty of room to install some). Hopefully they work out some solution soon because the way it is now is unacceptable. I find the grounds to be very quiet. I've hardly seen any kids around. Occasionally youngins will come home late and drunk and loud on the weekends, but that's part of the adventure of apartment living. The upstairs units aren't carpeted like they are in some complexes and when a big rambunctious puppy moved in upstairs it was just awful. Just months and months of awful. I also hear my neighbors every time they pee. Or fight. Or walk. Or talk. The windows are single pane aluminum frame. They've got to be as old as the construction ~30 years. They leak and they sweat, and I've had to clean mold from the frames. Once I was locked out and I got the window to unlock and open just by rocking it in the frame until the flimsy lock came loose. They should be replaced, but I wouldn't count on it. Oak Run has a LOT of windows. The A/C has always worked, and so has the heat, and the appliances. Every maintenance call has been handled quickly. The maintenance staff is helpful and professional. The office staff is responsive and courteous as most yelpers here attest. Jenny and Erin and the ones before them. That stuff goes a long way - not every renter experiences the luxury of good helpful management staff. I've heard about break-ins in the parking lot, but I've been lucky so far. Supposedly there is security from 11pm - 5am now. I've never seen them. I feel safe here and was pretty shocked to read that someone found a homeless man sleeping in a laundry room with his junk out. I'd be more inclined to believe someone got hopelessly drunk and couldn't' find his apartment. We don't really have the homeless in our immediate vicinity, although the convenience store parking lot is shady af, and the last time I went there, the lock on the gate between the store and the complex was busted. Not complaining though - it's awesome to have a little store right there when you need one. I saw where someone mentioned the cheap, dumpy cabinets with layers and layers of paint, and that is true. The counter tops are also abominations, but they do the job. The resident Facebook group is a nice thing. I've really enjoyed the pool, though you have to be very careful not to put your foot through the deck. I replaced all the lightbulbs because it felt like a Walmart in here with all the bright white bulbs they use. The last thing I want to mention is that they've raised my rent every year. Not by a buck or 3, but more like $25/year. That adds up over a few years and I'm interested to see if they do that again this year with rents in Austin generally down and units sitting empty for long periods. I'll be really sad if I get priced out of here, because despite the downsides I mentioned, I know how lucky I am to have my little slice of downtown skyline and all the birds and squirrels and kitties and trees and good neighbors. read more

Let's start with the photos you see on the website...laughable. THAT is NOT what the apartments here look like. That is ONE building on the entire property that was finished several months ago. The apartments are cheap and dumpy with old appliances and about 20 layers of paint on the cabinets. I have lived at Tramor for 2 years. 4 months ago transfered to a larger apartment with yard. Pics indicate the condition of the yard when we moved in. Keep in mind that they had 2 weeks between the time the last tenant moved out and when we moved in and that is what my 1500$/month yard looked like. In the past 4 months we have had the yard thing, took 3 weeks after we moved in to get it cleaned up and that is ONLY because I finally called the landscaper MYSELF. We have bare wires running thru the attic. The electrician actually said to us, "I HOPE YOUR APARTMENT DOESN'T CATCH ON FIRE"!!! Still not resoved. Our cars have been vandalized several times. Requested that the security lights be fixed. STILL NOT RESOLVED. Our apartment totally flooded with 2 to 3 inches of water. Back to the landscapers...it was due to 2 large piles of dirt they left at either side of the drainage path!!! We are sitting  here today waiting for both the cleaning crew and the landscapers, both of whom were to be here "first thing this morning". And Jenny, the "manager", actually had the nerve to say to me that they offered a water extractor and we turned it down. Well Jenny, we had a carpet cleaner to suck up the water! What we needed was a way to stop the water from pouring into the house! Side note, water also seeped in thru the floor in the closets and bedroom. We were blown off as if that is totally normal. Thanks. NO APOLOGY. NO COMPENSATION FOR THE TIME WE HAVE LOST AT WORK. NOOOOTHING!!! Every time I have followed up on a work order that has not been resolved ALL I get is "THAT ISN'T US, THAT IS (insert scapegoat here)....so basically what they are saying to me is that THEY contract these people to do certain jobs then the contractors just run willy nilly, doing, OR ACTUALLY, NOT DOING as they please and the management takes ZERO  responsibility. Let's distinguish between the maintenance crew and the contractors. We have NO beef with them. When they actually recieve a work order we feel that Richard the supervisor does all he can to make sure that things aren't just patched to 'good enough', but makes certain that things are done right. However, I find communication and followup to be seriously lacking between the office and his crew. Your only hope is the city compliance office, the tenants council and a lawyer. THAT is where we are today. read more

Overall a very quiet, pleasant apartment community. The staff were absolutely fantastic, especially Erin at the front desk But everyone I interacted with was polite and very helpful! The only reason for 4 stars is that my kitchen appliances didn't work great, even after maintenance had looked at them. You also have to plan ahead if you want to do laundry, as the only way to load money on your card is to bring cash to the office while it's open. However, overall I would absolutely recommend this apartment complex. My friends said it felt like I was living in a summer camp with all the trees! Ive lived at Tramor at Oak Run for about a month now and absolutely love. Big life transition got me here and needed a place where I felt cared for, and safe. Erin (assistant manager) is quite possibly the kindest person Ive ever met and was so welcoming and helpful through my move -- even willing to help me set up internet / electric, etc. Neighbors are great too, most people have been here years. Maintenance is ON TOP OF IT - have fulfilled requests same day or next. The only thing is walls are a little thin and it is an older building, but its centrally located with feeling like you're nestled in a treehouse. :) read more

I've been living at Oak Run for five years, and sadly, I'm about to give my 60-day notice; seems like a good time to finally write my review... There are always pro's and con's, but my experience living here has been overwhelmingly positive. There are tons of floor plans (it's a big community); while the first place I moved into was a blind move from Oregon, and the apartment wasn't great, I liked the management, so when my lease was ending, I decided to see what else was available. My second apartment was pretty great, but then the loft floor plan became available and I scooped it up. This apartment is what makes Oak Run so great: I've got 30-foot ceilings, transom windows across the entire length of the apartment, and the most incredible views outside of downtown--and I pay next to nothing for it (comparatively, remember, this is '04). The WOW factor is indescribable. Even though my apartment is amazing, my favorite part about living here is definitely the management staff (especially Kaleigh!). They are always on-point, are service oriented, & always have positive attitudes. Anytime I've ever had issues of any kind, the office has handled them quickly and responsibly (when I first moved here 5yrs ago, my car got stolen--not their fault, but they immediately hired renta-cops to patrol at night--which since have been replaced with permanent on-site staff). The maintenance staff are friendly, helpful, and during times where I've had emergencies off-hours they were ALWAYS quick to respond. When I go in to pick up packages or drop my rent check, I'm greeted warmly and by name; they really do their best to make sure their residents feel at home. Oak Run is also a VERY dog-friendly community, which I love, however, my one complaint is that many residents don't clean up after their dogs, and with so many dogs on the property, that's a lot of opportunities to step in shit. After a few rounds of complaints, they're instituting DNA fecal testing, so that problem ought to be improving soon. yay I honestly thought I'd stay in my apartment forever (I hate to give it up!), but opportunity has presented itself and it's time to move out to the country (horses!). However, if I ever decide to rent again, I will absolutely go see Kaleigh & the rest of her team first. The location, the value for what you get, and the staff on premises make Oak Run a great place to call home. Kaleigh is amazing; hopefully she'll soon run the place ;) read more

So I've lived here 10 weeks now today (1/29/10). Last night the ceiling/roof leaked again, like it does every time it rains. I'm really worried about mold and getting sick with all this moisture coming into the walls and ceiling. I've talked to the office and they tell me it will be fixed. They told me a contractor would be hired, then almost 5 weeks later maintenance brings one by. Over a month later and still no work has been done.. The best part is that while I was sitting out on my deck 12/19 the last tenant of 4 years was driving by, so he stopped and asked me how I like the place. He tells me that for 4 years they half assed repairs and never fixed the roof/ceiling leak. He had to just live with it. I was leary after reading the other reviews on the review site, but went ahead with it anyway. I regret that now. The reviews are correct (except for the occasional happy 5-star left by the office manager). This is B.S., I'm out of here as soon as my lease is up in 9 months. :( read more

Been living here for about a month, and it's my favorite apartment I've lived in so far! Lots of character and super green.

I have lived here with my boyfriend and dog for almost four years. It has been such a great starter apartment for our little family. The management, especially Jenny, have been so warm and helpful, and I feel fortunate to live in a complex who cares about their residents. For example, as we were out walking directly after the Winterpocalypse of 2021, Jenny stopped on her drive by to ask us directly how we were doing and what our water situation was like. She showed genuine concern and took our concerns seriously (we had been out of hot water for a week or so). Maintenance is also fast and efficient. As others have pointed out, the laundry facilities are problematic. They are unpredictable regarding quality of wash/dry. We have been going to a laundromat almost since moving in. Another issue is our stove oven: our apartment is on an incline (and I'm pretty sure is sinking slowly), so any liquid in pans (e.g., oils) will pool to one side which makes cooking uneven. Another thing is that sometimes our coil burners get red-hot even on low, and I haven't figured out a way to keep this from happening. It does make cooking frustrating. Some other advantages are that the apartments are at a cheaper rate than other apartments in the same area, and it works as such a great central location for various parts of Austin: South Lamar, South Congress, and downtown are only a couple of minutes away. The complex is also surrounded by trees and greenery, perfect for those who want privacy while also being close to civilization. The downside to the greenery is that there can be insect problems. The complex has pest control come out monthly, but we still had creepy crawlies (roaches, to be more precise) coming into the apartment. Luckily, if you bring it to their attention, the complex will ask pest control to spray around your apartment specifically! read more

I have lived at Oak Run for almost 2 years, and I absolutely LOVE it here. The fact that it has an average of anything less than 5 stars is really surprising to me. First of all, everyone in the office is SO nice and accommodating. They get back to me quickly if I ever have an issue, are super nice when I come in to visit with my pups and are nothing short of amazing. Maintenance is always quick to respond when I need something resolved. I never feel unheard or frustrated. And yes, Oak Run is an older complex, but that's what I like about it! It's unique. All of the units are different and not cookie cutter. I have lived in 10 different places since I've been in Austin, and Oak Run is by far my favorite. Highly recommend!!! read more

Lived here for three years in two different apartments and it's been amazing. Great greenbelt walks and amenities. The staff is super friendly and quick to fix anything you need. I lived at Oak Run for a year and really enjoyed it. Two bed duplex with a small yard, and complete updates inside for a great price. The complex is huge and kept up well. Anytime I had an issue, management was very responsive and sent someone out to repair asap. Only thing I would recommend is renovations/ updates to pool areas and fitness room.
