A brief description of the non-trivial taxes Sumi has handled for us: * My wife works normal w-2 wages, and we have normal easy turbotax tax concerns like property tax and mortgage interest and 1099-INT or 1099-DIV deductions from savings. * I work a 1099 contractor job (software engineering) where I pay estimated taxes throughout the year and have additional self-employed deductions that I'm allowed to take for work-related expenses. * I have a single member LLC for some iPhone apps I've published on the app store. * I'm part of a dual-member LLC for other apps a friend and I published and maintain. And, she always does her homework for me, as there have been some non-trivial / abnormal tax situations related to the dual-member LLC where she has gone back to tax books and tax peers to double check her advice before giving it.
