My husband and I got married two years ago and were on the same page for just about everything EXCEPT money. While we had good spending/saving habits (no debt, lived on less than we made). However, things like tracking the budget and deciding what money items were important to our household.... were a mess. I found Julia and Art of Finance from their PBS web series on YouTube, Two Cents and was thrilled to see her vivacious personality and willingness to cut through the BS wasn't just an act for the camera. My husband and I made the financial commitment to sign up for Cash Flow Coaching with Julia and Kara, and while the initial stick price left me questioning, I can say it's the best money we've spent since being married. Art of Finance gave my husband and I a shared language and sense of ownership over our budget and money. They helped to prompt questions and discussions on what we wanted OUR lifestyle and money goals to be as a newly married couple. Because of cashflow coaching, my husband (the nerdy spreadsheets guy) learned to let go of full control of our finances and we were able to work together as a better as a result. And me (the fun person who hates spreadsheets) has learned to take an ownership piece in our finances and use a budgeting software that makes us both feel informed on our money decisions. Regardless of if you're single, newly married, or have been married for years, I would HIGHLY recommend joining up with Art of Finance and making the commitment to get your budget right and stop stressing about your money. P.S. Shout out to Kara who's a tech wiz and fixed all my budget software problems. Even if we hadn't gotten any coaching, she would have been worth the cost of the course herself.

They hired Ibrahim Womack to offer his BPO which had such gross negligence, that the company I hired to appraise the property after his BOO clearly said with the property comps he used and statements made in the report; it could only be intentional and not human error. He boasts a "Satisfaction Guaranteed" policy on his BBB page, but his actual business practices are completely deceptive. After taking my money, he admitted in writing that he skipped critical phases of my estate plan--failing to review the documents with me, provide instruction, or offer the advice I paid for. Instead of finishing the contracted work, he spent our meetings aggressively trying to upsell me on unauthorized legal services for an eviction issue, demanding an additional $1,000 to file court documents despite admitting he is not an attorney. Furthermore, he engaged in highly concerning privacy practices by secretly adding a secondary account to my private Dropbox folders and taking ownership of my files without permission. When I expressed dissatisfaction and requested a partial refund for the uncompleted work, he immediately blocked my phone number and terminated our engagement. He does not honor his guarantees and abandons his clients the moment he is questioned. Why don't you look up unlicensed practice of law? In addition- you offered to finish the job was after telling me twice you blocked me! What I really liked about the initial process was that instead of just asking "when do you want to retire and how much money do you have" Megan asked things like "What was money like when you were growing up" and "How much money do you need to have to feel comfortable" and "Tell me how you feel about money in general". That way, she knew my comfort levels, why I stress about money, and such. Then, she was able to put together an investment strategy that fit me not only financially, but also psychologically. Not only that, THEY take care of all my investments. They watch the mutual funds I invest in and if things get shaky, they move my money. I don't have to watch it at all. It's great.
