Post workout, I have tried several of their recovery options. This location has one cryotherapy…read morebed, three HydroMassage beds, and three tanning beds. Cryotherapy Bed: Great option for a mix of massage, compression, heat, and cold therapy. There is a small massage feature that moves up and down the upper body while you relax. At the same time, you can control the temperature zones for hot and cold therapy on targeted areas of the body. I believe you can select up to three or four cold zones, while the opposite zones remain warm. You can also choose settings such as cold, colder, coldest, and hot, hotter, hottest. The session lasts about 10 minutes. Leg compression is optional and feels great. The machine itself is comfortable to lie on and easy to wipe down. There is also a small bonus pad you can use for heat or cold therapy on harder-to-reach areas, such as the thigh. HydroMassage: This is another great 10-minute post-workout recovery option. It uses adjustable water pressure and speed to massage the body. You can customize the intensity, control the speed, or pause it over specific areas you want to target. Otherwise, it automatically moves up and down the body. It is also comfortable to lie on and easy to wipe clean. Tanning Beds: I have not used these, so I cannot comment on them. Massage Chairs: This location does not have massage chairs, but other locations do. I know the Sunrise and Pompano locations have them.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with a gym…read more I want to begin with the customer service experience at Crunch Fitness Coral Springs, specifically involving a young woman named Zoey, who informed me she was the "General Manager." I originally came into the gym simply asking questions and exploring my options. Looking back, I should have stayed firm in my decision not to sign up that same day because I knew I wasn't fully ready. However, during the conversation, I felt pressured into starting a membership. Zoey understood how eager I was to begin my fitness journey, and unfortunately, I left feeling as though that emotion was used to encourage an immediate decision. The membership began at a penny for the first month, but shortly after came the full monthly payment along with the annual fee. Due to an abrupt job change, I fell behind on payments. I fully acknowledge that my financial responsibilities are my own, and at no point did I attempt to avoid paying what I owed. What became deeply disappointing was the complete lack of care, support, and professionalism when I reached out to discuss options for resolving the balance. I called to ask whether smaller payments could be arranged or whether the additional fees could be removed so I could simply pay the remaining balance and close the account respectfully. To put things into perspective, the balance went from a $28.99 membership to approximately $167 due to accumulated fees, late charges, and the annual fee. While I understand policies exist, I hoped there would be some level of understanding or customer support offered. Instead, Zoey informed me that if I preferred for the account to go to collections, I could "possibly pay half there." Hearing that from someone identifying herself as the "General Manager" was extremely concerning and honestly disheartening. I also requested multiple times to speak with someone above her and was repeatedly told there was nobody over her. During another call, a different employee mentioned someone named "Dom," yet despite my repeated requests, I never received a callback from him or anyone else in leadership. Throughout this experience, the interactions consistently felt dismissive, resistant, and lacking empathy. Even if alternative payment arrangements were not possible, professionalism, communication, and compassion still matter when dealing with customers experiencing a temporary situation. Zoey stated she could waive one $15 fee, but all other charges would remain. Personally, I would have felt far more respected as a customer if the unnecessary fees had been removed, allowing me to pay the actual balance owed and close the account on good terms. What made this even more frustrating was how difficult it was to access anyone above the club level. When I requested corporate or executive contact information, I was given a generic email address, Info@crunchcoralsprings.com. When I asked who the email actually went to, Zoey repeatedly responded, "the club," in a tone that felt dismissive and unhelpful, despite me clearly explaining that I did not want the concern routed back to her. I value customer experience deeply, and I am someone who will gladly pay more for professionalism, support, and quality service. I have belonged to gyms such as Equinox before, and while I understand every business operates differently, the level of customer care I experienced at this location was genuinely shocking. This situation was never about refusing accountability for my financial responsibilities. It was about the lack of compassion, communication, emotional intelligence, and customer support shown throughout the process. I sincerely hope this review reaches someone in leadership who values professionalism and customer experience enough to address the culture and training at the Coral Springs location, because no customer should ever feel this unheard or dismissed. At this point, I would genuinely appreciate speaking with someone in leadership who approaches customer concerns with professionalism, understanding, and emotional intelligence. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this location to others.

However cleanliness and maintenance are unacceptable. I've been coming 5-6 days a week since January. Multiple machines have been marked "temporarily out of order" for months with no visible effort to repair them. In the locker room and shower areas the lack of sanitation is consistent and obvious. Hair left in sinks for weeks, a water bottle sitting in the handicap shower for over two weeks, a q-tip on the floor for a week, visible buildup on shower floors and walls, and blood on the floor that remained for five days. I personally observed a staff member go stall to stall with cleaning supplies yet the stalls remained visibly dirty afterward. That makes me question whether they're properly sanitizing or just spot-cleaning. There are additional maintenance problems: one shower missing a head entirely, another sprays incorrectly, and a sink that hasn't worked since January. Cleanliness in shared shower facilities isn't optional it's a health responsibility. Management needs to step up. This location could be great, but right now it feels neglected.

Then looked at my nine year old niece and made a really nasty face like she was really annoyed. She then asked us to sign in..not in a friendly way..she just shoved the clipboard at us and said "sign" and walked away. We were there 10 minutes and it started to pour rain. Scott, a really nice life guard, told us we had to get out of the pool but we could get vouchers to return. The same lady told us we had to wait 30 minutes. We did. It was still pouring so we went back in for the voucher. She totally ignored us, working away at her computer. After 5 minutes of just standing there we left without the voucher. Money wasted, rude front office employee...don't waste your money here.

I understand though that it's due to reopen soon, with new decks and some other upgrades. The pools and dive well speak for themselves as top notch training/teaching facilities, but the fitness center is also a little gem, which has stayed open throughout. This is NOT a fashion gym - no cute color schemes or posing bodybuilders (although you may -like I was! - be exercising next to an Olympic champion who is also just there for the work-out), and no one is intruding into your routine. That's what I love about it: it's a place for everyone, with no judgment, no airs, and every age and body type you can imagine, just trying to stay fit and healthy. Lots of machines and free weights, you can contract with a trainer if you want, and it's inexpensive. Best of all it's never crowded. Can't wait to see everything finished!
