She was very rude and mean, when I asked to talk to a manager she state she was the manager then I asked her to let me talk to someone above her and she said there was nobody. Bad way to do business, I did end up signing my son but I will not do it again and for sure I will make sure to let people know to stay away from this place.

I wasn't expecting much since given the area and was pleasantly surprised to see suggested exercises on the white board and lots of the same free weight equipment that I'm used too. This Y could use a face lift...getting rid of the carpet and installing a newer gym floor alone would do wonders as I can live with the equipment they have. I was hoping to discover some classes I could attend however their class schedule varied from the normal since it was the Holiday. I would have loved to get in there on Thanksgiving but they were closed. Knowing my home "Y" just had a large renovation I did not show up here with wild expectations however was bummed that there was no towel service. Whenever I'm in this area I will definitely go back. We don't have kids so I did not pay much attention to the grounds in that regard or other activities but the "Y" has a long standing seal of approval for these sorts of things. The "Y" in general is a great place for families to participate in and can benefit on all levels.

And noooooo they don't have cardio kickboxing, zumba, spinning, or whatever the newest workout craze is. It's a basic no frills gym...so on your first visit, don't expect a guy named "Jeeves" to greet you at the door with a bottled water from Iceland. What you CAN expect is a clean gym (and locker room with showers) equipped with all you need to get in a good, thorough workout. They even provide complimentary personal training for any rookies. All this for $10 a month. Yep only $10 bucks. I'm currently learning to speak Yelpish, so I'll translate: The member ship fee is equal to: The sauteed calamari appetizer at Orsay or A sandwich at The French Pantry For $20 a month, you get the "Black Card" upgrade with unlimited use of tanning beds, massage chairs, and you get half priced cooler drinks (or "happy hour priced cooler drinks" in Yelpish). All in all, a great gym with a great deal!

People don't typically bring their wallets into the gym so I asked if we could start working out and get our ID's after the rain died down. Kobe said no. I then found both of our ID's on my phone, showed Kobe, and asked if he could take our picture so we wouldn't have to go through that again. He said no. James then walked up, asked Kobe what was going on, and then offered to take our picture so there wouldn't be such a delay next time. The same exact thing Kobe said he couldn't do! I asked why Kobe told me he couldn't do it and James said, "Because I know more than him." I then worked out and guess what I asked 90 minutes later? Did Kobe learn to take pictures? Nope. Just bad service led from an owner who was made aware of a problem last week, did nothing, and then let it happen again to us. The issue is we don't pay that gym's owner according to Kobe. He said the owner of this location owns three gyms and if we don't pay one of them three then we have to show ID every workout which is unlike every other PF club. Horrible.

Do not become a member here if you are pregnant, postpartum, thinking of becoming a mom, or have…read moreany health problems! I would like to preface this review by saying I love orange theory and have been going for YEARS. I was a founding member of this studio and used to go every single day. I became pregnant 7/2022 and was able to go minimally up until 2/2/2023 when I could no longer go because my belly was so big and the doctors were scared he was IUGR. I was generous to the studio to ask to put a freeze on my account starting in April as baby was due April 4th (still was charged $15 a month even though I was originally told no charge). On 5/30/2023 my freeze ended. From the date of my baby's birth (April 4) to literally now I have barely had a second to breathe let alone think of my orange theory membership. I had a very hard birth and my baby was very high needs with colic and reflux and would cry 24/7. I finally was able to remember to call to cancel my membership 6/12/2023 but I was 4 days late past the 30 day policy. I sent an email asking how many more times I would be charged and when my last day of classes would be and my email was never returned. I called the studio asked for forgiveness from ONLY this last payment seeing as I was only 4 days late, a new mom who was still in June experiencing birth complications (scar tissue that had to be burned out from inside of me) with a high needs baby and on top of that postpartum anxiety and depression. I even offered to get a doctors note or provide them with my medical notes. They said it did not matter to them the reason that they had to continue with corporates policy. Absolutely no support for postpartum mothers after being a member for years. They can see I haven't been there since February and offered me 10 free classes.. my baby is high needs I can not come!!! What if you were injured in an accident and could not cancel no medical notes are accepted! Beware at all costs!!!!! I would proudly tell anyone to join but not after this! They are all privately owned! Whatever happened to decency and doing the right thing! (I also told them I would be leaving a review and I was told by the studio to post it)

From walking in, I could already see how massive the place was and how much different equipment they had to offer. I went during a busy period and there was still plenty of equipment to choose from. Comparing to other gyms that I go to, they have different equipment that I didn't see at competitor gyms. There is a basketball court and comparing to other gyms, their boxing area offers more. I tried their infrared sauna as that was another option that I didn't see at other gyms. With how big the place is, how many people, and ongoing classes, it can be quite loud. It gave me opportunity to test and see how good my headphones noise canceling option is. I would consider joining as there are locations nationwide and several international locations. There's three different membership options with an annual fee if you're budgeting and thinking about pricing. They are not 24 hours so that is an option to consider for someone like me as I like going during afternoons and evenings. The reasons I have to consider weighing my options is that I already have two different gym memberships to 24 hour location gyms. For me, the drive to the location is also a factor.

My husband had us both join, and I have yet to be able to come, but they set him up with a personal trainer there (LAUREN O.). From the moment she started training him, she continued to ask about our marriage and repeatedly asked him to take her out because she's new in town and he's "Hot." He respectfully declined and said his wife would not like that. The next few times he came in, she continued to ask him and flirt with him. Even texting him after hours, which he did not reply to, and when he showed up the next day, just to work out, she ran up to him and asked why he "ghosted her" last night. He then repeatedly said my wife would not appreciate that, so please do not do that. He then was so uncomfortable, He left and got a membership at Planet Fitness. So, women, just beware, she's out for your husbands to take her out on the town. Most unprofessional personal trainer. La Fitness should really address that. Unless they want a sexual harassment suit on their hands. Needless to say, I will never go to that location, nor will my husband and I let all my friends know as well. LA, PLEASE PAY MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR TRIANERS.
