We got towed across into Shelby Montana and pulled in around 1:00 AM. To our surprise we were greeted and shown our spots. They helped us with our laundry and keep their restrooms/showers very clean. I could write an entire review just raving about how clean and nice the bathrooms were. The shower head, temperature, and water pressure rival a 5 star hotel shower. The park was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Great cell service and free WiFi. Close to a paved trail and town for supplies. Highly highly recommend staying here.

Unit appears to be recently updated with paint and new fixtures. Our unit had a full kitchen and a separate bedroom also. This is what the mom and pop motels strive for, comfort without the bs. We will come back for sure. The view of the mountains and wildlife are added luxuries that no fancy big name can supply. Thank you to the proprietors for reminding me that comfort and beauty do not need to come with a large dollar sign.

When we walked in to our room, it was pretty stinky, but nothing unbearable - maybe they should have just cracked a window for the day or something. "Stuffy" is a good word to describe it. There was a bit of hair (not mine) on my pillow, but other than that everything was pretty clean and normal. And there was free Wi-Fi! Exceptional customer service, as the front desk lady went out of her way to get me a corkscrew. They didn't have one in the building, but she took my bottle, ran across the street to her friends at the bar, and opened it up for me! So nice! I really appreciated that! If i could make one suggestion for the Crossroads Inn, i would say maybe get some apples or bananas added to the (FREE!) Continental Breakfast menu. The bagels and muffins and donuts and cookie bar things were really good, I just think it's better to start the day with fruit. You know? Also - the TV in the room was really really small, but i don't feel right complaining about that. It worked perfectly, and there was a million channels, so it's all good!

When we called to ask if there was a vacancy, the women who runs the place said there were rooms available, but she wasn't sure if she could make up the room for us and that she'd need a credit card if we were serious. We were a little put off, but agreed and moved forward with a very last minute reservation. When we arrived, we saw that we were the only people staying at the B&B and that made our previous conversation even more odd. When we arrived, she was very friendly and welcoming, however seemed rushed to get back to watching the DNC. We spoke to her about breakfast for the next day and was told that it is an extra $10 and it "wasn't anything special". She does consider pets and our dog was very happy there! The room was very comfortable with great furnishings and cute details. We had a wonderful stay and very much recommend the place of you are open to the colorful character who runs it.

I could touch the popcorn ceiling in my bare feet without standing on tip-toes to do it and I'm just 5'10". There's a phone in the room that looks like one I remember from a 1970's episode of Baretta. The bathroom is in the closet. Or is it vice-versa? Anyway, the woman at the check-in desk was quite nice and showed us quite a large array of DVD's we could watch for free and just leave them in the room. Definitely different. Decent location near Amtrak, especially considering this is a town with no taxi service, so you have to schlep your luggage everywhere once you get off the train unless you know Bob.

The room appeared fine, but seeing lobby made me question room cleanliness. Has potential to be a great little motel, but needs some cosmetic repairs and more cleaning up (even a simple sweep outside rooms once a day). Appreciated microwave and fridge. Loved that it was quiet. Owner was very kind during phone reservation and upon check in.
