This one is definitely worth a stop if you're making your way across the state and need some comfortable rest, or can't get camping inside Glacier, which is just about an hour away. Enjoy!

I could touch the popcorn ceiling in my bare feet without standing on tip-toes to do it and I'm just 5'10". There's a phone in the room that looks like one I remember from a 1970's episode of Baretta. The bathroom is in the closet. Or is it vice-versa? Anyway, the woman at the check-in desk was quite nice and showed us quite a large array of DVD's we could watch for free and just leave them in the room. Definitely different. Decent location near Amtrak, especially considering this is a town with no taxi service, so you have to schlep your luggage everywhere once you get off the train unless you know Bob.

I'm assuming because of Covid, the bathrooms were both locked, the water was non-potable and the area could use a good mowing. They had a playground available as well as beach access. Several picnic tables were under a covered area. Some of the campsites had fire pits and bar-b-ques. There were several abandoned trailers/motor homes on the property. We saw several wild turkeys, a deer with twins, several other deer wandering through the property and one camper saw a bear. It is posted that bear sightings are common and to be aware of your surroundings. I enjoyed the wildlife but the general area could use a bit of care.
