Unfortunately, our experience with this moving company was very disappointing…read more During the packing process, I had to repeatedly follow staff around to make sure things were actually being packed. Items were left behind in closets, kitchen items were missed, and overall there was a lack of attention to detail. We were also told that our toiletries were "too much" and they would not take them, and they refused to take unopened, brand-new laundry detergent. Communication became another major issue. We were notified less than 24 hours in advance that delivery would be taking place at 8:00 a.m. at our new home. We contacted ownership and simply asked if delivery could be moved to noon because my flight was not landing until 9:00 a.m. and my husband would arrive later that day. Instead of working with us, Angie was rude and stated that we already knew when they would be there. That was incorrect -- she appeared to be referring to the packing schedule, not delivery. I explained our travel situation and tried to communicate in advance. The next morning, I received a message stating they were signing paperwork as "customer not present" and leaving the load at the house. To make matters worse, we discovered damage and missing items: * One dresser was damaged * Another dresser was left laying on its side * Our Tempur-Pedic bed arrived missing wires/components * A decorative statue was damaged Moving is stressful enough, and we expected better communication, more care with our belongings, and basic customer service. Unfortunately, this was not a smooth or positive

They came out and looked at all we wanted moved and listed it all and gave us a good estimate. We had a couple weeks to change items (some ended up selling with the house) and with those changes in place we awaited moving day. I don't know how to explain how great these guys were. They wrapped our items so nicely in blankets to avoid any damage. They were friendly and personable and way nicer to my 14yr old that kept asking them questions than they had to be. They didn't even grumble when I asked them to rearrange items when they got to the new house because I changed my mind where they should go. Best of all they moved a 300lb safe from a basement to another basement and tried their darnedest to get a standing freezer into the new house basement (unfortunately the logistics just didn't work). Estimate came in a lot lower than we expected too. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat !!!

They showed me how to sort things into separate bags because the majority of my items could actually be donated! Even older electronics, cosmetics, partial shampoos, cleaning solutions, etc., there are places that gladly accept and make use of these items. I don't believe in waste so instead of accumulating things that I no longer use, Organize by Design taught me how to give these extra items "a new home" through different agencies that accept various donations. Nicole and her staff truly do love organizing and they are excellent at helping others learn how to make sense of it all. I was afraid that hiring a professional organizer wouldn't be worth the money but Organize by Design proved me wrong. I definitely have no regrets and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. If you're on the fence about calling or feeling overwhelmed, this company will ease your burden and they make it look so easy too! To me, that's priceless.

They did an excellent job at balancing both my and my husband's personalities and organizing preferences. I tend to want things hidden, and my husband likes things visual- so it was not an easy job. But with patience, lot of questions, and elbow grease, the team at Organize by Designe was able to find ways to making us both thrilled with the end result! One of my favorite things about working with them is they push you (in gentle, motivational ways) to keep going even when you find yourself in decision fatigue or over it, haha! I am the classic "get started and end up with piles everywhere and no energy to distribute those piles", and that is just not how they leave it! They press in until you're really happy with what you end up seeing. Take allll the pictures, because you'll want those reminders of how much work you did, and how much better your spaces feel. Thank you, Organize by Designe team!!

Moving mountains of…read moreboxes, lifting furniture that weighs a ton... all of that may sound fun to some people but not to me. I decided to be a lazy person and hire some movers to make things much easier. After talking to Philip, my day was set for doomsday aka moving day They showed up and cleared the house promptly. Even as the weather went from low 70s to low 90s, all of them did not slow down one bit. Overall I am very happy with the service I received and will gladly recommend them to anyone moving.

He was throwing people's (mine and my boyfriend's) first and last names and our addresses out there for the world to see. Would not recommend, especially if you're female. I'm honestly afraid for the females that hire this man. Please be careful ladies. He literally looked my name up on Facebook, and googled my information and called and texted me. How creepy. If you're a woman, use a different moving service. I would never trust someone this creepy with my home address or any personal information!! This 100000% pertains to him as a business because as a MOVING company you are not allowed to share people's personal, sensitive information. Aka... their home address. Someone that has no respect for a person's privacy with their home address will never get my business and it most certainly won't get them a good review. I don't even need to prove this because in the comments section he was posting my personal information like who I'm dating and my home address. He edited it thank God but still! How creepy!!!! Who does that??? What business owner does that???

I do not write reviews lightly, in fact, this is only the second review I have written and my first…read morewas extremely positive. Unfortunately, my experience with this company requires a cautionary account. My move took place on Nov. 25, 2025. I expected two movers who would conduct themselves in a professional manner, demonstrate knowledge of the task at hand and treat the client with basic respect. The two movers that arrived were young men in their early 20s. Prior to hiring this company, I specifically asked the Manager whether her movers wrapped the furniture and I was assured by her that they did. However, on the day of the move, it became clear that the crew did not understand or follow standard professional moving practices. My furniture was not wrapped or protected; instead, I was told that blankets would be placed on items only after items were already on truck. They were not. The movers were very dismissive and rude. As a woman alone, I felt very uncomfortable speaking up further. This experience reflected a lack of professionalism, preparation, and respect for the customer. Their conduct made an already stressful day more difficult than it needed to be. During the move, furniture damage did occur. After weeks and repeated calls on my part, I was eventually offered monetary compensation. While the amount was nominal, I am grateful that some recompense was finally made. My purpose in writing this is not to be punitive, it is to warn potential customers and to encourage this company to improve. Particularly, in how their movers interact with clients. Skill alone is not enough; of which they had little, but that professional demeanor and respect matter. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously, as it would go along way toward improving the overall customer experience.

1 Star Very…read moredisappointing experience. My original estimate was $6,225, and I ultimately paid $8,100 for my move. Despite paying for a full packing and white-glove moving service, multiple valuable belongings were damaged while in the company's care, including a 65-inch TV, a 55-inch TV, my mattress, a marble side table, a patio chair, and a rug. One of the most concerning examples is my mattress, which was delivered folded in half. I have included a photo showing its condition upon delivery. The white-glove service was also not completed as promised. The movers disassembled my bed but did not reassemble it upon delivery, even though reassembly was included in the service I purchased. I had to hire and pay a TaskRabbit professional to assemble it myself. I have been working with the company on my damage claim since July 20. They have received photographs and videos documenting everything. The company is relying on the $0.60-per-pound valuation provision in the contract. I understand that provision is included in the agreement, but given the number of items damaged while in their care, I find the outcome extremely disappointing. Their Claims Department initially offered $124, then increased it to $275, and their final offer is now $325. After paying $8,100 for the move and dealing with multiple damaged belongings and incomplete white-glove service, I do not consider $325 a reasonable resolution. I gave the company more than a month to resolve this directly and in good faith. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with how the claim has been handled and would not use this company again or recommend them to others.

On the moving day movers demanded additional cash beyond binding estimate before inspecting or loading any items.
