Customer ordered a trailer. Dealt with 4 different salesman to just get it ordered.. was a cluster. When trailer finally showed up they never inspected it, was there for a week. When I came to pickup the trailer many things were wrong. Took 2 hours to get my spare tire that was missing and paid for. Coupler adjuster was bent. Wiring zip tied in place. I finally was fed up and just took the trailer. Emailed the salesman later with high res pics showing the shotty wiring, rust, and bent/cracked coupler and asked what we could do to fix it. 1 week later no response, but surprise surprise my check was cashed lol. I called Maxxd and they just passed the blame off to Trailer city, which is interesting because Maxxd is just as much in the wrong as they sent the trailer out of texas with zip ties holding the wiring on... I am very disappointed at the lack of customer service, quality control, and attention to detail. Would have taken the lot boy 15 minutes max to go down my build sheet and make sure I had my spare tire, and wiring was correctly routed, coupler adjustable etc PRIOR TO THE CUSTOMER BEING CALLED. what a joke

I recieved my "new" maxx d trailer and it came damaged and spray painted !! I paid 27 grand for this ??? Love the trailer but not happy with the dealer or manufacturer. Nor the dealer or manufacturers would address any of my issues and the dealer failed to get Me plates for my trailer for almost 3 months !!! I called and texted maxx d themselves and they told me yea that stuff happens in shipping no big deal . I said yea but what about all the spray paint around the lights in the deck and around the tool box in the deck . Again I was told oh yea that happens . The tool box lid in the front of the trailer is warped and bubbled and looks like it's an old lid . When I received the trailer it definitely doesNot look like a new trailer . I was also not given the in the floor keys for the locking box and I ordered 2 spare tires when I picked it up in December it was missing a spare tire I ordered. I was told by a rep at maxx d he could get me the parts I needed . When I kept calling asking for parts he then told Me "oh sorry you have to go through the dealer you got the trailer from" that was trailer city in. Portland Oregon and they were useless. Trailer city did not process my paperwork to dmv till Feb 21 only cause I threatened to take them to small claims . All buyers please beware they promise to fix and do this and do that . Do not let them give you a bunch of lies !!!!! Getting touch up paint is a pain in the ass as well . Alll Maxx D customers Beware!!!!!!!!! This is what $27,000 Looks like?

Very thorough, pleasant and helpful experience…read more http://www.TrailersPlus.com/CustomerPhotos/TRPL2820189.jpg Thanks!

You want to hear about the worst experience I've ever had? Well, I visited their store on a Tuesday…read moreto find a trailer for my new business. I chose a trailer and intended to pay cash that day. However, the salesman convinced me to take out a loan to help build my credit. He instructed me to go online and reserve the trailer for a dollar, and they would hold it for a week. So, I engaged in a conversation with the salesman, went online to reserve the trailer, and even had him double-check that it was reserved. I spoke to the staff in the front office several times throughout the week to check in. I scheduled an appointment for that Saturday to purchase the trailer. While I was scrolling online, I noticed that the trailer was listed as sold. Initially, I thought it might be due to my reservation, but I called the store and spoke to Camden, the manager. I verified that my trailer, which I had already selected, was still on the lot. This incident occurred on Friday, and I wanted to confirm before proceeding with the financing paperwork with my wife. Camden assured me that the trailer was still reserved and that I had a 1:30 PM appointment on Saturday to pick it up. Therefore, I completed the financing paperwork, approved the loan for my wife and me, and arrived at the store on Saturday to collect the trailer. To my dismay, they had sold the trailer! They never informed me, let me know, or attempted to reach out to give me a heads up. I had spoken to them several times throughout the week to inquire about the status of the trailer and let them know that we were working on the financing, but no one mentioned anything about it. Let me tell you about the appalling customer service that almost surpasses the charges I incurred. My wife and I had already checked our credit scores, so they were already affected. We filled out all the paperwork, and apparently, they added another trailer's VIN number to my application without my consent. We were approved for the loan and everything else. When I arrived at the store, they immediately attempted to sell me a different trailer before even informing me that my trailer was unavailable. Despite all this, I only received a generic apology. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but these incidents occurred on Saturday, August 30, 2025, and I find it unbelievable that a company would allow me to go through the entire process of purchasing a trailer and then sell it without informing me. What's the point of reserving a trailer if it's not actually reserved? Furthermore, I felt that they didn't disclose this information because they were aware that I had already completed the financing process. They believed they could sell two trailers instead of just the one by selling the one without informing me. I even offered to pay cash for it on the very first day I visited, but instead, I attempted to follow what I perceived as sound advice. Now, I realize that I was severely mistaken. To add insult to injury, I was supposed to have this trailer ready this weekend for an upcoming job, and now I have to cancel it. This is a significant financial loss for me and my family. If I had the option, I would give them no stars. I strongly advise anyone against visiting that store in Portland, Oregon. One more thing, and I'll stop here. I found a different trailer in Eugene, Oregon, and the salesman tried to convince me that it was a better trailer and that I was getting a better deal. However, when I did some research, I discovered that it was the same exact trailer as the one I had originally wanted, and there was nothing better about it. Additionally, it wasn't the color I had originally desired. Oh, and I have to drive all the way to Eugene to get a trailer that will work for my business, which means another $240 in cash. I wouldn't even be considering buying a trailer from this place if they hadn't already run our credit and approved a loan, which has negatively impacted our credit score. Furthermore, I won't have it in time for a major project that I had already bid on, and now I have to cancel it. Oh, and here's something else: there's a guy named Vladimir who left a review three days ago, driving away with my trailer hooked up. That was supposedly reserved for me. It's just another slap in the face. Well, at least one of us had a good experience, I suppose. Sorry this is such a long review, but I hope it helps others avoid this. If you've read all of this, I'm sure you can understand why I'm so angry.
