I have been a long time Trader Jones fan. I have trekked to their Montrose and Westheimer locations to get my everyday and seasonal snack fix. When they finally opened here in my neck of the woods, I was beyond ecstatic! Welcome to Sugar Land! Take my money! lol. But, really. Service is superb here as well. Loved the hustle and bustle of shoppers inside the store searching for their go to snacks or trying out new snacks. There were so many foods I wanted to try, but I ended up picking up my go to items: veggie samosas, chocolate lava cake, spanakopita, cookie butter, coffee blast ice cream, and dark chocolate peanut butter cups. We did buy a few new items: chili lime tortilla chips, brownie coffee ice cream sandwiches, and pineapples. The chips were too sour for my taste. The pineapples were sweet and fresh, though. The coffee ice cream sandwiches were delicious and strong! Next time, I definitely plan on getting new snacks. I can't wait to shop for their seasonal winter snacks too! Yay!

One of my favorite shops. I am always intoxicated by the flowers as soon as I enter the door. It makes me happy all day long.

Their Dubai chocolate was still out of stock, and I also grabbed two tote bags since my friends wanted them.

This is the third time I've bought protein that was spoiled, from this location. The ground sirloin looked perfectly red on the outside but the inside was completely gray. The same thing happened with a package of ground chuck I previously purchased at this location. The salmon looked fine, wasn't slimy, and didn't smell while it was raw. But as it cooked, it smelled weird. I finished cooking it and (reluctantly) tried it, and it tasted just as weird as it smelled. I tossed both in the trash and called for a refund, which I can't get until I go back into the store

I trust their standards, especially when I'm trying to avoid unnecessary additives and preservatives. I'm a very loyal customer to their bakery, especially for special occasions like birthdays. Their Chantilly cake is hands down the best cake I've ever tried, and it's what I always come back for when celebrating. The bakery alone keeps me coming back, and I always rely on them for cakes. I also love their bread. It does expire faster, but that's actually a good thing since it has minimal ingredients. I just pop it in the freezer and take it out when needed and it tastes exactly the same. The quality is great, and the bread is pretty affordable for how clean the ingredient list is. The ambience is great and honestly one of my favorite parts of shopping here. The store feels clean, calm, and enjoyable to walk through, which makes the experience better overall. Service can be okay. Most of the time it's fine, but occasionally the cashiers near the beverage area can come off a bit rude. It's not a huge issue and hasn't stopped me from shopping here. Yes, it can be expensive if you grab the wrong items, but the 365 brand is usually much more affordable and still great quality. Overall, I really love shopping here and keep coming back for the quality, bakery, and atmosphere.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.

On top of that, shops seem to be renovating or popping up almost every month, so it feels like a new experience each time we visit. They also have fresh bakeries and desserts to take home, which is always tempting. Prices are great with a membership card, and every trip feels like a Costco-style stock-up run. So we went and it indeed had everything. The longest line was for Grill City. In all honesty, I feel like Grill City is a bit overhyped. The kare kare didn't taste like my father-in-law's. He makes the best kare kare. But you can't beat home cooking. Too bad my FIL is in CA. The liempo was good, but how can you really mess up grilled pork belly? However, I did like Sizzle. Their bangus sisig on a grilled platter was so delicious! I was jealous of my husband's pick. I also really loved the items at Valerio. Reminds me of Panorama City in CA. Everything here was light and bright and it smelled clean. Would I come back? Only if I'm in town. Next time I'll bring a big cooler.

They have an in house chat corner with two tables tucked away which I wouldn't suggest. It probably was good I cannot say, I was famished and was so glad to find that they had my favorite chats, but once I sat down I just gulped down and couldn't wait to escape towards the better side of the store.... I have been going to Keemat Grocers since 1988 when it was on Settler's Way and Hwy 6. I bought products for the upcoming Lakshmi puja, but I dropped the bag on the floor and it touched my feet. I wanted to exchange four items ( a coconut , paan, bel leaves, and 2 suparies), and this staff initially wouldn't exchange the items and said so rudely and said to just wash them. I told him no and he very rudely asked me to get the items. I was shocked with his rudeness as if I was trying to get things for free. I would appeal to Bengalis in Sugar Land not to support Keemat grocers unless they train their staff to be polite and cordial.

When I asked an employee in the produce department where a scale was, he said, "No." I said that there HAD to be one as I needed a certain amount of white radish. He just stared back at me. The other employee next to him pointed to the far corner. Now, the "flank steak." As you can see from the picture, OVER half of the steak (blanched) is fat and membrane! It only comes packaged. I thought it had a thin membrane covering it, which would have been acceptable if it was over a long piece of steak. Didn't have time to go back. I arrived home at 6:30p and had to use it because the soup cooks for four hours and was being delivered tomorrow morning. (I hope that one star anise does not overpower the broth!) I should have had them unwrap it before purchase. Once, I bought a doong/joong/zongzi there that I unwrapped a few days later. It was moldy. When I returned it, no apology. Should have learned then to be aware. I will say that the cashier was friendly and smiled when she handed me the receipt.

Prices seem in line or cheaper than our local spots for a few items but in terms of organization and cleanliness, it doesn't seem to be the best. The seafood section here has quite a strong odor which is reminiscent of the early 2000's Asian grocery stores and there's a general dusty smell throughout.
