This is highkey unacceptable for a Monday at 3:00pm. Bring back split lines or at least a express lane.

Continued low ratings until they bring back split lines. This is the worst downgrade I've ever seen in a grocery store.

First Sunday of 2026, right before school break ends and many head back to work from their holiday vacation...whoa, it was off the hook. The checkout line literally wrapped around the whole store. But it is not took about 10-12 minutes to cashier. Now that's efficiency.'there many staff on the floor, one at the end of the line (with a sign), and one at the beginning of the line directing the next customer to the appropriate cashier. And all the cash registers were staffed. It's one thing to be busy but it's another to ensure you're doing everything be efficient while still providing great service. Not to mention, the store was very clean, stocked, and organized.

This TJ's always fully stocked with Swedish fish gummies and the yummy JAPCHAE fried rice! It's like a hybrid of sticky rice and jap chae noodles! A perfect combination of chewy and savory!

TJs pork belly. Yum, it was delicious! Didn't need to do much except brown this and serve.

This Trader Joe's seems smaller than other ones in the City, but it may be perception? For one, it's located in a basement, so one has to take an escalator downstairs. I think the one in downtown also is same setup, but I digress. Secondly, due to tighter spacing, some of the items are not located next to each other like other bigger stores I'm used to so I had to circle a little bit more to find things. Otherwise, still a great TJ. The cashier we had was very personable. She will be great at sales. Located within the Stonestown Galleria complex, on 20th Ave and Winston Drive.

After several months of looking for the Korean kimbap I finally spotted some in the freezer section. There's a two per customer purchase. Fully cooked you reheat the package in the microwave for two minutes. The veggie filling was good but the rice looked weird. Overall was edible. 9 pieces in the package. I rather buy it freshly made at the local Korean supermarket.

Me and my girlfriend always come here for groceries and I couldn't have passed up on these orchids. The service here is very fast and reliable and we always are looking for the new trending items at Trader Joe's. The ambiance here is like any other grocery store very busy and high paced environment.

Traders Joes introduces some innovative products for the different four seasons of the year . During the Autumn season it is pumpkin season. I am all about the pumpkin pie year round but there are items at Trader Joe's has which are interesting and are limited editions and have pumpkin flavor added. At the Trader Joe's at Stonestown in San Francisco you can find some of these pumpkin flavors food items spread across the entire store. It's try at your own risk when it comes to the pumpkin flavored items at Trader Joe's because this location does not have a free taste sample table and you can only rely on a personal referral or gamble on an online recommendation. Not all pumpkins are the same and they are countless varieties of pumpkins dessert and food items at Trader Joe's which are sweet and savory. There is the pumpkin bisque for the overcast weather in San Francisco. Then there is the Trader Joe's pumpkin ice cream for that San Francisco heatwave weather. Then there is the Trader Joe's cheesecake for whatever the weather. As you pass the aisles you also can pass the pumpkin baton with the Pumpkin Spice Batons (rolled wafers with pumpkin spice). You will also find a mini pumpkin patch within Trader Joe's with pumpkin names such as the Fall Fantasy pumpkin, Mini Tiger pumpkin and the Orange pumpkin. Trader Joe's does a good job planting the pumpkins seeds for their Autumn pumpkin release . As the Trader Joe's website says" We Fall for it every year". As we fall back this year keep in mind it's time to rewind (your clock on November 3, 2024). Trader Joe's keep it consistent with their food and service. Traders Joe's pumpkin season Autumn food items are not a gimmick Others stores try to copy but the best they can do is try to mimic

Trader Joe's Stonestown - Milk Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzels

This Trader Joe's is conveniently located at Stonetown Shopping Center. There is plenty of parking. And it's easy for commuters to take public trasportation here since so many MUNI lines stop at Stonestown. Also convenient for students at SFSU, whether they live in the dorms, nearby, or to pick up something on the way home after classes are over. The store is actually on a lower level. You enter the doors and then take the escalator or elevator down. When you are finished shopping, you can push your cart onto the "up" escalator for the carts and it will meet you up at street level. There are 2 restrooms ; they are on your left after you get off of the escalator. The store is a decent size for the location. For some reason I was expecting it to be more cramped inside. They have a check out system I had not seen before at other Trader Joe's location. You enter on the left side if you have a cart, and you enter on the right side if you have a hand basket. Both will feed into the "next available" set of registers. I like this more than individual lines for each register... because sometimes you choose poorly and end up in a slow line. The one downside to this location is the narrow sidewalk out front. It gets jammed up with pedestrians walking by or trying to get on/off the buses, while Trader Joe's shoppers are trying to come out with their shopping carts. .

Christmas day dinner. No real cooking. Just heat up.
    Stefan T.

Popular mall location - probably due to the bus stop and proximity to the college. Shopped a day before Christmas Eve and everything was in stock. Pleasantly surprised at the experience just days before Christmas. I would expect certain things sold out - crowds - black Friday type stuff - but it was nowhere to be found. Went in for the pre cooked turkey half breast. I never tried it before but I've always had my eye on it as an option for people who don't want to cook for a moderate group of people. Got some ready made sides - roasted vegetables and stuffing for a complete no fuss dinner. Turkey was well seasoned and tender - stuffing had apples - everything was great. For dessert had some Zanzes cheesecake and everybody was happy. Check out lines were fast and there was one line for everybody. I think I like this better than the typical TJs checkout process. I usually go to Whole Foods next door and it was my first time visiting this location. Don't let the escalator stop you - just a short ride directly under Target.

Nope- all sold out! I've been calling and looking too.

In one incident over a year ago, another customer verbally harassed me and threatened physical harm while I was shopping. Her child was left unattended and was knocking items over, which I reported to security. The guard failed to do his job and did not intervene appropriately. When a supervisor arrived, the situation was handled much more professionally. I should feel safe shopping in my local market. That guard no longer works there, but the experience was upsetting and difficult to move past. Unfortunately, in January 2026, I encountered similar issues with a new security guard. He has repeatedly followed me around the store without cause. Most recently, he approached me unnecessarily, stood uncomfortably close, and spoke to me in an intrusive manner while I was selecting items. His behavior showed poor training and a lack of respect for personal boundaries. These repeated experiences with security staff are negatively affecting the atmosphere at Woodlands. I am a respectful, regular customer and do not want to feel uncomfortable or monitored without cause when shopping. Proper security training and professionalism are essential for customer safety and trust.

We were in San Francisco for about a week, and having a Trader Joe's so close was a total lifesaver. We could easily stop in and grab breakfast foods, snacks, and, of course, our favorite peanut butter cups. It saved us from having to spend a ton of money eating out for breakfast every morning, and we were able to stock up on snacks that lasted us for the entire trip. This Trader Joe's was definitely a different experience than the one we're used to back home in the St. Louis suburbs. Since it was right in the city, you actually had to take an escalator down to get into the store, which was kind of fun and unexpected. I also felt like there was surprisingly more room in the aisles than I expected for a city location. The checkout line was a completely different story! It wrapped around the store, which honestly gave me a little anxiety because I felt like I needed to hurry and get everything because the line looked like it was going to take forever. But they had a ton of checkers working, and the line actually moved incredibly fast. Before I knew it, we were checked out and on our way. It was just really nice to be somewhere familiar while experiencing a totally different version of Trader Joe's in another city. Having one so close to our hotel made our trip easier, more affordable, and a little more fun. And yes, we absolutely stocked up on those peanut butter cups!
