Precious brussel sprouts. Perfect size too. Not too much and not too tiny of an amount. Plus, this batch is so beautiful.

What turned out to be a poor customer service experience transformed into an excellent customer service experience. I went along and purchased my regular groceries in this clean and tidy store. Meal options are always diverse. Love it. Had a highly dissatisfied experience at the cash register. Had a moment to debrief with Mike and I appreciated how we saw eye to eye. Treat people how you would like to be treated. There's a special way to "dance" in customer service whether it be in grocery stores or at restaurants. Generationally I think young adults are at a disadvantage in terms of having a prosperous opportunity to learn proper etiquette when they're little... seeing the full cycle now is terrifying. But Mike, you made my day. Forever loyal to your store. Thank you for understanding where I came from and was as polite as I could be today regarding the situation. I love Trader Joe's Westlake. Parking is a nightmare but I'll come just to give you business.

    Love it! Love TJs!!

I love this TJ! They have superb customer service! Always friendly and approachable esp during the canvas tote bag hype! And everything else that comes with it! Congrats for being so nice and service with a smile! Woot!!

    Pink succulent $6!

TJ is always a fun place to browse even if you don't need anything. Chances are i always need something. Just maybe I don't realize it till I get home and forgot an ingredient for my recipe. Floral section right when you walk in is wonderful, so much selection! Greeneries, flowers, roses, fillers, special seasonal plants or giftables. Flowers are always an easy gift if you need to pick up something quick Parking lot is annoying. Too congested

$95.85 a week of meals including Thanksgiving- Thanks to Trader Joe's. The were well stocked today and no long lines!

GREAT ice cream, granola, yogurt, large chocolate bars (at reasonable prices)... and so much more. TJ has so much to offer, and they have tastes of seasonal or new items. Lots of well-prepared food ( salads, roll-ups, rice / noodle bowls) big variety. Frozen foods, meals too. Golden pineapple- beautiful, tasty Cheese & Wine- many kinds, and special varieties from all over the world - great prices$$ Fun to shop here. Not a Mega-store but carries everything you NEED for a smaller layout. Pick up their Newsletter, which is full of fun and food information. We love the peppermint toothpaste and little potted plants - cute!

Love my local TJ's, friendly staff, clean, well stocked store. I always find something new to try. Love their unique items like tika masala and shawarma bowls.

Soo waiting for Costco to have these, oh well Tj's it is!!

I come to this particular location because it's sooo convenient & the staff here are pleasantly chill. It's been awhile since I've been to TJs so I sooo needed to stock up on goodies. Spotted some new snacks such as kettle corn drizzled w/choc w/freeze dried strawberries. Get some regular stuff as well but found out some items were discontinued. BooHoo! Anyways next visit there'll be bound for something new to try. Until then, I got my goodies to eat.

I prefer coming to this Trader Joe's location in Daly City even though it is farther than the South San Francisco location. The parking here is more plentiful and easier to navigate. And the inside of this store is larger and more spacious. There is also something about their product placement / displays that make me notice new items (to me) that I just don't see at the Sunnyvale location I usually go to. The only odd thing is how they have separated the "bagged" salads from the "boxed" salads; they aren't even in adjacent refrigerated sections. There is a restroom at the back left corner of the store.

Ask the Community - Trader Joe's

Does this location have the weekly raffle for a $25 TJ's gift card for spending $25+ and bringing in your own bags? Or knocks off $0.05 for every bag you bring?

No for both. I've never asked directly, but it seems like they stopped doing it for a few years already. A bummer, really.

Is there special hours/entrance for healthcare workers?

    Not anymore.

Can adults play FIND THE TIKI as well?

    No. Kids only

KSM is one of those ethnic markets where you can spend a dreamy time wandering the aisles, unlocking the variety of Asian food products from, Korea, Japan, China, to start. The produce section feels more like an indoor farmers market with its carefully curated and stacked fresh produce. Their varieties of rice alone is worth a visit. Loved the ramen aisle with its varieties. Note if buying noodle packs in bulk, they're located in the front of the store by the cashier stations. Their meat and seafood market in the back, also well-curated, offers cuts of beef, pork or seafood for stirfry, hot pot or barbecue. We were regulars with the pre-marinated beef short ribs, ready for the BBQ. Pick up some Kim Chee, banchan and make a pot of rice. Makes for a nice meal! KSM also offers hot prepackaged meals, sushi, banchan, to go. There also a small eat-in cafe located next to the takeout. You can order hot tofu soup, K-style fried chicken wings along with their barley tea. KUKJE SUPER MARKET was a staple while living in SF and continues to be staple in Daly City. See you there!

I finally made time to go here. The parking lot is a bit tighter than I would have liked, but…read morethere seems to be a quick enough turn over if you are patient. As for the store itself, it was clean and well organized, but like the lot, the store is busy like an ant farm. Plus, inside they also had a few free samples which added to that constant movement and energy. While there are a handful of familiar items you'd see in a typical U.S. chain grocery store, most of what's on the shelves isn't traditionally carried in those stores. That's really the point here. The selection here is a wonderful variety, and honestly, massive, from Korea and the other Asian markets. I can't read the characters on the packaging, but with a little time (and Google Translate), I was able to find some upscale brands that are completely new to me. The best way I can describe this experience to people who might not understand, or an experience like this would be new to you, is that if you're old enough to remember, think back to when Stoli was considered a top-shelf Vodka in most American stores. Then walk in here and you'll realize there's a whole world beyond Nissan Top Ramen. It's not that anyone is new to grocery stores, but this is a supermarket in the true sense of the word. This is scale, variety, and specialization all in one place. The selection is immense. It feels less like a quick grocery run and more like a place you go to explore. PS - As for the attached food court, there are only 2 restaurants left open and 1 bakery. I have dropped a review of one of the restaurants.

Review for H Mart H…read moreMart is one of my favorite Korean grocery stores--ever. I remember when they first opened locations in the Bay Area in places like San Francisco and San Jose, and I would gladly make the trek just to shop there. I've never been disappointed. The stores are always clean, organized, and full of incredible food options. What really makes H Mart special, though, is that it's more than just a grocery store--it's an experience. Inside this massive market, you'll find a bakery, authentic Korean food stalls, and restaurant-quality meals being made fresh. It's honestly amazing to walk into a grocery store and have access to food that tastes like it came straight from a restaurant kitchen. Because I travel frequently for work across the Southeast--covering a pretty large region--I'm always on the lookout for an H Mart whenever I'm near one. I've been lucky to have access to locations like Cary, North Carolina, and the one in Buford outside Atlanta, which serves a large and vibrant Asian community. Whenever I'm within a reasonable driving distance--usually within about 10 miles--I make a point to stop in and enjoy a delicious, authentic Korean meal that's made to order and very reasonably priced. I've brought friends and colleagues with me, and they've all been blown away by the food stalls. My personal go-to: * LA galbi (Korean short ribs)--if it's on the menu, I'm ordering it * All the little banchan side dishes--I absolutely love them * Fresh seafood options, including live crab and fish that can be cleaned and prepared for you * A stop at the bakery for dessert--think croissant donuts, almond pastries, or a beautiful layered crepe cake Some locations--even the ones I visited years ago on the West Coast--would steam or fry seafood for you right there, which makes dinner incredibly convenient. Another thing I appreciate is the cleanliness. This store truly rivals places like Whole Foods in terms of organization and quality, even while handling live seafood. The parking lots are typically spacious, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. I also love browsing the aisles for specialty ingredients you can't find everywhere. For example, they carry my favorite laksa noodles, which remind me of a Malaysian dish I fell in love with while visiting a friend in Mauritius. It's always fun to discover unique items like that. The staff--both in the grocery store and at the food stalls--are friendly and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. Bottom line: If you're anywhere near Cary, North Carolina--or even the Buford, Georgia area--do yourself a favor and make a beeline to H Mart. As a lifelong foodie, I truly believe: Life is too short not to eat well.

Then I showed Manila Oriental Market to her and since then, we hit up this store first before Ranch 99 because they have more Philippine items. Located in Daly City's King Plaza, free parking is available in the shopping centre's private lot. Sometimes you can find a spot to park right in front of the store. During weekends, you might need to wait for an available space. Heads-up - the rows of parking spaces facing the Manila Oriental Market are tight, so not the easiest for big automobiles to get out of a spot during peak time. Cleanliness of the interior of the store can be fair to needs improvement. What's worth pointing out is that one of the main areas that could use a good cleaning is the corner where you can order hot food, which really should be the cleanest part of the shoppe. Luckily, there isn't a weird smell, not even in the seafood department. This market carries produce, meat and a wide selection of seafood, plus imported groceries at reasonable prices. Mom can usually find the international fruits, veggies and products that she needs here. When she can't, searching for specific items has shown to be a bit challenging because of the language barrier with the staff who do not speak English or have heavy accents. Oddly, this Filipino grocery store has no Filipino employees.
