I loved this old house. I could see the potential in it, but it needed a lot of work. I bought it from the nephew and niece of the man who passed away that owned it. I started working on it with my younger brother who was a great Carpenter.)RIP) We went in head first and started working on the house every day in the night until midnight. I work on this house for seven years. I bought an old railroad jack from the flea market and my brother jacked up the porch with my ex-husband and replace the rotten support system to level it out. It had original radiator steam heat from the boiler that was in the basement in the whole house, but it didn't work. I heard a good Plumber to come down and repair the boiler system and get the heat back on. It was a big job. I put my heart and soul in this house and a whole lot of money. I loved it. And was so proud of it. Seven years after refinishing it, I submitted it to the historical study and in two years later, they selected my home to go on the national historical register in my name! I sold it and I wish I still had it but one of my friends has it as a consignment shop. And keeps it up nice

T.L.D.R: The store isn't the same, the atmosphere is tainted, and I'd recommend donating to other…read morelocations like Goodwill and Salvation Army, as that is what InJoy is turning into. As a semi-avid goer of this location and a volunteer at this location before today, I really loved InJoy and the Greenville location as well. But this place has changed drastically since I started going there over a year ago and started volunteering there almost a year ago. The original manager I knew is gone; the entire store's been rearranged and remodeled; the 50% volunteer discount went down to 20%; and I didn't even get it half the time after the change. You can't buy in bulk anymore while volunteering (a box with a set price instead of each item individually priced), and it just doesn't feel the same anymore. It ended today when I was told by the new manager that I've had my volunteering privileges revoked. She tried to hide why and kept avoiding when I asked why until I started getting into specifics. I asked if it was because I had tried to buy a camera bag at one price rather than opening it and individually pricing everything in it (which I had done because I had forgotten about the new rule and it was like 6:10 pm and everyone wanted to leave, which was quickly remedied by me going into the back, taking both cameras out, and a lens box for one of the cameras, getting him to price the cameras, and paying for them, by which I didn't get the discount then either), and she said things were "missing from the bag," which is quite odd considering I was the only one who'd looked at it aside the donation receiver as I grabbed the camera bag from a donation bin used for incoming donations that was under multiple other crates. Furthermore, I had left that bag on the overflow shelving before I left next to (or close to) a broken point-and-shoot Samsung camera I had tested previously (and ruined one roll of film and ended up screwing the other one up with humidity by leaving it in my pocket while testing), and said bag was gone today when I went, having only a camera flash and booklets left in it when I had last seen it. It is my humble opinion, and that too of my parents, that someone stole from the location and blamed it on me. It is disappointing that a store built on Christian values would have such a situation occur, and it's disappointing what this place has become.

It's a unique concept where people/vendors are actually given small sections of the store where they can display their wares. There was everything from garage sale items to 3D printed stuff to brand new toys still in the box. There were clothes and furniture, really anything you can think of. Where we live there are a few consignment/thrift stores who utilize this same concept and I think it's a great way to help small businesses start out and/or to help people in the community get their products out there. We only stayed about 5 minutes or so because we were already behind, but if you love to shop or you're looking for a unique item or gift to buy in person, this spot should definitely be on your list.

I rarely write reviews, but the customer service I received from Bell Ace Hardware deserves…read morerecognition -- especially the outstanding help from John at the Service Desk. Short story: Bell Ace repaired my Stihl hedger within a week of me bringing it in. They were honest, thorough in explaining the issue, and fixed it at a fraction of the cost compared to another company I previously tried (less than 100.00). The quality of their work speaks for itself. Background: Before coming to Bell Ace, I took my Stihl hedge trimmer to the store in Nashville where I originally purchased it. They kept my equipment for nearly two months. I called repeatedly for updates, and when I finally told them I was coming to pick it up, they informed me it would cost over $200 to repair -- but they could sell me a new one for $300 without the battery (normal price with battery is approximately 499.00}. I won't name them, but their reviews already reflect similar complaints about long repair times. The pattern is clear. Needless to say, I won't be returning to that store. Bell Ace has earned my trust, and I will be using them for all future Stihl repairs and purchases.
