Dr…read more Ilon is so kind and patient and really takes care to be sensitive and reassuring so I feel more comfortable, and can let go of my fears some. he's got a very gentle touch so you're not being manipulated how other aggressive dentists operate. He's got a very laid back manner though highly professional. if it wasn't for the fact that I hate metal in my mouth and the sounds of drills so much, he'd see me much more often! the customer service is excellent which is saying a lot in Miami much less on the beach. truly a gem in the heart of our beach city. and also, it's very reasonably price. you absolutely get your moneys worth. unless either one of us moves, I'll be seeing Dr. Ilon from here on out for my dental care, and the place is beautiful too!

This is an honest, kind group of professionals who actually care about your well-being--they're not in the business of inventing problems just to pad the bill. Case in point: I have two baby teeth that every other dentist over the last 20 years wanted to yank out and replace with implants (probably because implants are profitable). But those teeth are still sitting firm in my mouth--no issues. Instead of pushing unnecessary procedures, this dentist is helping me keep them healthy for as long as possible. Prior to making the appointment, Jinelle - not sure if she's an assistant - advised me that I had to change my insurance primary doctor's name to this office so that I can have an appointment there. I followed her instructions, but it was going to take one month to apply (mind you, I needed this appointment sooner than later as I was paranoid about something with my teeth. Finally, one month later I asked Jinelle to help me schedule an appointment where she then told me that they do not take my insurance AT ALL. This came as a shock to me because I would think she would've done me the courtesy to let me know this ONE MONTH PRIOR, during our first initial contact. Supposedly it took affect this month, but I'm sure they knew beforehand this would be the case and were ever so CARELESS to say anything. Unfortunately, I've learned there's not a lot of courtesy or empathy with patients or potential ones from doctors or nurses these days. Which is unfortunate because it's the one main career path that should have it! But I guess all of you are the same, no matter how many good reviews you have. it's a true SHAME. Now, I have to wait another month to change my primary dentist to another dentist before I can finally check my teeth. I have really high values, I don't like giving bad reviews unless I honestly really think there's something wrong morally or there might be something a business can learn for future/potential clients. I did not have an in office visit, but I'm glad I didn't make this my dentist office seeing as how cold and unresponsive I was treated. My initial dentist that does not take my new insurance offered to see me either way without me even having to ask, seeing as how they knew I needed an appointment and they wanted to help as much as they can!! I didn't have to be assertive, I didn't have to ask, I didn't have to say anything about reviews.... they simply offered their services and tried to help me either way. I obviously wanted to find an alternative dentist that did take My insurance which is why I had to look elsewhere. But you should offer solutions to patients or be more caring when there is no solution - ESPECIALLY when they are following the instructions YOU initially gave them in the first place as per the writing above.
