I have been going here for a few years now, but frankly the last visit left me baffled. I came into…read morea simple cap re-cement (which I had done several times with my dentist in NJ in minutes and at no cost) to the office trying to force me into an evaluation, extra unnecessary x-rays BEFORE the dentist even saw me. It is important to note that at the start of my visit they told me my visit was covered. However, when no X-rays were needed (they had done just a few months ago during my cleaning visit) then the office manager informed me they needed to charge me $100 but that they would submit the claim. Time passes and no claim was submitted. I had to call Delta Dental and they contacted dentist office. Today 9/16, I called the dentist because they did not even have the courtesy to inform me that the insurance claim was being processed or they received payment from insurance on 9/14. Lady on the phone, today 9/16, claimed that the original visit was an evaluation and she continually argue her point. I pointed out that the only reason for me making the appointment was to re-cement the cap. Nobody should switch the reason for my appt or switch costs on me in the middle of the appointment. Now I have to wait for the office manager to call me after an evaluation of how much money they should returned. Again, this was a 15 minute no charge visit with my old New Jersey Dentist. It is a shame that Smile4Life office can treat a patient who has been going to them in this manner. Truly a shame.
