Both of them immediately responded "Alicia Lansford with Markham Realty in Huntsville!" Alicia sold my sister and brother in law's house and they were extremely happy with the job she had done for them. I contacted Alicia asking her to represent me. I shared with her my list of criteria for the home. She didn't even flinch. She went to work and soon had put together a list of over 50 listings. I was able to peruse these online and ask to see the ones that appealed to me. We looked at several properties and Alicia found "the one" for me! During the process, she communicated often and kept me informed about what was going on. She put me in touch with an awesome mortgage broker, and a couple of super inspectors. We closed on time and everything went very smoothly. I feel like she got the best deal for me almost as if it was her own money being spent. Here's the bottom line, I recommend Alicia Lansford and Markham Realty. If one of my family or friends engages Alicia as their Realtor, and for some reason are not satisfied with the job she does for them, I'll pay her commission. That's how pleased I am with Alicia.

Alicia Lansford gets 5 stars, 10/10 from us…read more On our recent hunting land purchase, working as our buyers' agent, Alicia provided informed guidance, careful curation of potential properties, convenient showings, clear interest in understanding our goals for the property, and aligning her counsel with those goals. Even though the properties that we were most interested in considering were an hour or more from her office, she was extremely accommodating to us in scheduling showings. She even hiked the property lines with us, spending the time we needed to gather information as we evaluated our options. Alicia was clearly focused on our needs, and did her very best to ensure that our goals were met from initial property view through closing. She gave us wise counsel regarding practical considerations of crafting and negotiating an offer to purchase, arranging utility transfers, managing insurance and tax considerations, and ensuring that so many more important details were properly addressed. Alicia is a very capable Realtor, and has special expertise in land transactions so she was a great fit for us. Laws and traditions on land deals differ by state, so our previous out-of-state experience was of limited value in Texas. She has encyclopedic knowledge of the intricacies of land transactions - leases, easements, mineral rights, acreage valuations, timber and agricultural tax valuations, and more. Alicia Lansford we can recommend with enthusiasm and without reservation. You will be pleased to work with her.

The Best Handyman in Montgomery, Texas !…read more We recently bought an outdoor kitchen. According to the vendor the installation should have been seamless. We hired someone to install it. The person assembled it; however, was unable to make it work. We spoke with the vendor and discovered that the correct steps were not followed. We hired a couple of additional handymen and they failed to make it operational. Then, I found Jason on yelp. I explained the situation and he immediately identified the issue. He stopped by my house the following work day. In a matter of minutes, he resolved the issue that three handymen prior could not solve. Additionally, Jason set up a fire table, hung multiple pictures, a mirror and shelves. Jason is quick, thinks outside the box, and his rates are reasonable. I highly recommend Jason

Oh, did I mention that she bragged about having stood on one of my good dining room chairs to clean the ceiling fan in the living room and the kitchen, and stood on the beds to clean the ceiling fans in the bedrooms, (even though she brought a stepladder to use.) This woman TALKED nonstop until we decided to leave for a while and let her get her work done. We were gone approximately 2 1/2 hours and she was still here when we got back. She was here, literally five full hours, and then charged us $10 over what her original estimate was, (her rate was amazing, and we should've known that you get what you pay for.) We found her on YELP, but I don't remember if she had any reviews from other customers. The sad part is, I have never hired a cleaning (lady) service before, this was my first time. We had family coming in from out of state and because of my back I needed help just doing the floors and dusting, the bathrooms and the ceiling fan blades. Basically, that's all we asked her to do. While she was packing her supplies, getting ready to leave after we got home, i noticed the kitchen floor had not even been mopped, so, I asked that she please do that before she left. She literally looked at her watch before doing so. She did have a prepared, (unused,) mop bucket and a mop so she had every intention of mopping, just hadn't gotten around to it.... least that's the way it seemed to me. Anyway, after having learned my lesson, should the need ever arise again, I will definitely go with a reputable cleaning service, not a 'one woman' show charging half what others do.
