I would never use these guys. I was interested in a small lot that David Markham supposedly had the listing on . He would never text me back until several days later. Ive bought and sold several properties in the past..including beach cabins and lots that Ive owned on the coast . My little deal was to small for him to mess with I assume. Gotta say, never felt so inconsequential as I did while dealing with David Markham and this company. Looking at buying around the Huntsville area I called Markham Realty on March 25th and David called me on the 26th. Discussed the options I was looking for and needed to be within 30 minutes of Huntsville and 40 from Oakhurst. David said he would send me some properties and set up a portal by the next day, the 27th. On Saturday, the 30th, I messaged David asking if was still going to be sending me some properties to review. On Sunday morning I messaged Markham Realty through their Facebook page and David texted me 20 minutes later saying he was home sick and would get me the list the next, which he did. The list contained properties well outside my desired areas and the lists didn't reflect data that is important to me. I had to use the address or MLS and search other sites for the info. Inconvenient, but I'm still working with it. Tonight I messaged David asking if we could change the parameters of my search to be properties of 8+ acres with 2 or more homes. He responded that that would be covered by the existing query and if I don't see that in there, it isn't on the market. Granted this is true, my focus changed and I don't want to look through the whole list of properties looking for what I want. Is it to much to do the search and send me a list meeting my criteria? For David, it seems so. I responded back that I was sorry to bother him. After I thought about it for a bit, I again messaged David letting him know that I would just find another agent. I also messaged Markham Reality through their Facebook page to let them know that I let David know that and if they were interested in feedback as to why, reach out. They responded with, "we received your request and will be happy to honor it." No more family business' for me. read more

I suspect they have another income stream because when I called about a house I was interested in, it seemed I couldn't be doing anything but wasting one of the Markham's time- and I was calling because I was very interested in a house and just wanted to do a walkthrough! Every experience is different with an agency based on the agent you get, I guess, so my review is of Natalie Pierce-Cox. She was amazing!!! She worked so hard to sell my house. When I decided to remodel it to increase the value (I live in another state), she actually let contractors in and out and she herself climbed up on the sink to put in a new mirror! Natalie was simply fantastic. Also, smart - she was able to process data and give me a good idea of what market price was in the area, but also she wasn't pushy and still allowed me to make the decisions based on the information she provided to me and how I felt about the situation. When we went under contract, she kept me abreast of the buyers' situations in terms of what they would/would not negotiate on, so we knew how to frame the contract. She also kept a box of photos I had left in the house by accident after it sold - I kept promising to pick it up, but never did....so a year later, she had still kept it for me and mailed it to me at my request.
