Good feeling here. Free admissions and good customer service staffs. You can just walk in or register online. There's a tiny gift area not far from the public restrooms. I signed the guestbook at the end of my walk. Good place to hang around/includes unlimited paper, paper/pencils/samples/etc. If you like to sketch and get some creative inspirations, all the nature artworks in the gallery is definitely a good place to start. Not huge, but perfectly quite and calm for art lovers. You can request for an orientation and/or tour as desired. Great first impression during first visit. It's the positive feeling I get from observing the energy and various colorful artworks. Simple and stress-free. Good value/free admissions is totally worth the 1-2 hours here. But it's probably thing positive to mention when speaking about the city of Tracy. What I can say that it has changed over the years. The food vendors have expanded and there are more performances to watch. This year's Dry Bean Festival seemed to have more business booths than arts and crafts. And, as usual, there are political booths which I've always felt are inappropriate. Festivals are meant to invoke fun, not political conversations.

We finally decided to check out the Tracy branch library. I've driven by a million times and never…read morechecked it out. The exterior of the library and the surrounding park are fairly nice. There's a rose garden, some really big trees, lots of lawn and an overall relaxing serene feel. When you walk inside, it's apparent that this library needs a face lift. Fluorescent lighting, old carpet and yellowish paint on the walls. All of the computers were caution taped off and out of order. With that said, if you're stopping in for books or a place to sit with your laptop, they seemed to have a good variety of both books, and seating areas. My daughter loved the large dinosaur in the center of the kids section. The perfect enticing addition for a toddler!

The children's section is good sized and colorful. There's a good amount of books and half a dozen computers for kids to learn and play on. Next to the kids area is the community room which was having a Friends of the Library sale, everything was 5 for $1! The selection was big, but the items all quite dated or not really the besr stuff, hence the price hehe. The rest of the library is pretty big too, the adult section is large, I didn't see a teens section but it was probably there. Tons of natural light from the windows up high in the main section. It's a quiet and serene place to read and relax. Only thing is the bathrooms could only be accessed by asking the security guard lady to open it for 1 person to use at a time, 15 minute time limit. But they were clean for that reason, not allowing for open access. Overall, this is a decently good library in Tracy that's part of the San Joaquin-Stockton library system.

Everybody kept talking about his performance long into the night and the following days. Not only were the tricks great, the performance aspect was superb.
