It was time to replace the original 1968 aluminum frame windows in my home, and I called Tracy glass for an estimate. It was a large job, 10 window and a slider, including upgraded privacy glass for the bathrooms. I'd been putting this off for a while, due to the price. I had several companies come out and give me quotes, and I decided to go local. So very happy I did! There were a few bumps along the way (old house and me changing my mind in a few things) but Renee and Dave were always very responsive with fixing issues and making sure I was 100% satisfied. I am 100% satisfied! The windows slide quietly and smoothly, lock tightly with a click. No more drafty window to let out my heat. read more

Is this business still running?! I've been trying to reach someone since mid March and place an order to replace a piece I purchased a year and half ago. That first time, I spoke to Renee Neville about a customized piece and she walked me through the entire process. After placing the order by telephone, I was able to pick up like a week later and through that process, we were in contact via text. The service was fantastic! So, here I am again, wanting to place an order. I sent Renee a text message, no answer. I went online and sent two messages through the "contact us" tab, no response, I called the shop number numerous times at (209) 835-1472, the phone line would just ring and then voice machine. I left voice messages. One time, I was able to speak with someone, she told me she would get back to me that day (I wanted to know if they could find me in their system because I wanted the exact order from last time) but two days passed, no returned phone call. I left another message and Dave from Tracy glass texted me back that day (3/28/24) and we chatted a bit, I told him that I would like to place an order and that was the last time I heard from anyone. I don't know what is going on here. Today, I sent another message to Dave. I called the office, no response. At this point I feel like I'm bothering!! I wanted to purchase from this business because of the experience I had with them last time but that is NOT the case now. Very unfortunate! read more

Not sure if this business is still running. More than 6 calls went to VM. No response since a month.

On September 22nd 2021 we called Tracy Glass Shop and was told we would get a call to schedule someone to come out to our business to measure our desk for the glass tops, we got these glass tops from Tracy Glass Shop a few years ago but they have no record, No call on Monday Sept 27th to schedule us, then Sept 29th, 2021 we called again and left a message at 8:30 am and at 10:30am still no call back, so my office staff called and Renee answered the phone and her reply was sorry I was in Disneyland, this is NOT good customer service and NOT PROFETIONAL at all. She didn't even check to see if she had a message on her answering machine. read more

I have been preparing a home gym for my wife and we needed a full size mirror on the wall (8'x4'). David and his colleague showed up the day after I called and knocked it out in about 30 minutes so I asked him to work on a window as well and he figured out the problem before even saw it!! Tracy Glass knocked it out of the park. Thank you for your excellent work. Greg read more

When I asked the reason of extremely high price for order I got responded in a Very Rude manner. Would not recommend at all

Dave was unprofessional. He came to my house and measured the windows. I told him I wasn't sure if I was going to get all of the windows replaced all at once because of the price. He said I don't want to come back twice. He then left. He needs some training when it comes to Interacting with the customers. I will choose another company. Thanks! read more

Their work on two shower doors exceeded my expectations. Great job at an affordable price!

i am going to agree with the reviewers below. They are not very friendly. Toni (spelling??) was super friendly and awesome. The guy who answers the phone for m second call was snarky and condescending. Absolutely unnecessary. I am sorry i am not knowledgeable about windows. But I guess he does not care about the reviews on yelp. There are only a few places willing to replace windows in Tracy so it is what it is. I will not be using them though. read more

Today May 11th, 2023 I went looking for small size glass panels. Being the dimension were 9.5 by 8 inches. I didn't think that the business would do it. I was surprised of the willingness to accept the job. The owner was very professional in every aspect in his knowledge of glass cutting, even explained to me the characteristics of tempered glass. If you want quality service, with friendly a atmosphere, this the place to go. Also, when they were located on 6rh Street in Tracy, Ca this is the place I go to. When you own a business, such as glass shop, I know it can be very busy. I say take a step back, take a deep breath and give this place your business. 100% Recommended! read more

My fireplace glass was always cloud and ugly. Recently we decided to tile our fireplace and it made the glass look even worse. We went to a fireplace company and asked about replacement glass. They told me "you need to order a special glass from a glass company". They said they even tried to clean it but I didn't look different. I took it to Tracy Glass for a quote. Renee called me and said it would be upward of $900...(I was clearly disappointed although I was expecting the cost) I was quiet for a moment, but she said wait I didn't finish...we tried to clean it and I think it looks a lot better. Well I picked it up today, and it's not better, it's PERFECT. For a nominal, and beyond reasonable fee, I couldn't have asked for more!!! I WILL BE BACK. Not only did they give it a try, they were so helpful and FRIENDLY. I highly recommend Tracy Glass, THANK YOU‼ read more

TRACY GLASS NOT!!! Here's my story - I was looking to replace a window in my kitchen area, it was a custom "pass though" . I called tracy glass ( big waste of time) A man came to my house , looked at the window and said he would be in touch. After a couple day, nothing, so i decided to do my own homework and find a company who specializes in that glass and even provided the owner with new information. . no reply back,.3 weeks later....still no reply... Bottom line, if you want anything custom, these guys are extremely inexperienced and absolutely have no motivation to pursue customer needs read more

The top screen to my tortoise cage broke. I went to ace hardware where they told me they could re-screen it in 7-10 DAYS! Ummm, nope! Not gonna work. The screen holds my tortoise's lights, which he needs to live. I called Tracy glass and she said to come by. I came by and was greeted by a very friendly woman. She assured me her husband could fix it by tomorrow. We left the screen there. Within ONE HOUR the woman called me back saying my screen was ready! I thanked her and her response was "we did t want ur tortoise to be cold." THE SWEETEST THING EVER!!! I went a picked it up, it was very reasonably priced and re-screened perfectly!! I am so thankful for Tracy glass and will definitely use them again!! read more
