I got into the store parking lot at 10 minutes to 5p and there was a sign up that said closed. I thought it was up by mistake and went to open the door and it was 6 minutes to 5pm (closing time). The old lady practically chased me out of there and yelled "no we're closed". I would think that they were stay open longer in the summer with tourists traveling. I left heartbroken. You think they would honor me since I'm a patron wanting to spend money in their store... Especially since I drove up from Chicago. Otherwise their two locations in Readstown are normally packed with reasonably priced antiques and goodies.

Plants are very healthy, lush, the grounds and surrounding area are inviting and attractive. We were offered a glass of wine and they even had ice pops for children. There's a gift shop, area for sitting and just enjoying being there. Very pleasant, the staff are friendly and helpful. We weren't planning on buying a tree so we didn't have a truck, but they wrapped it in plastic wrap and were able to put it in our car and we had no trouble transporting it. Very happy with our visit.
