Got it. A baby onesie that says "My other ride is my tractor"? Got it. I love looking through all the bird stuff since we usually put feeders out at our cabin, and I love when they have all the little creatures for sale during the spring. We often need to come here for materials such as barbed wire, dewormer for the horses, bird seed, John Deere socks, mineral salt licks, and numerous other items. Prices seem to usually be totally fine, never really heard dad complain about anything's cost except the other day when he mentioned (quite pleased) that the tiller he bought for the tractor was bigger and cost only $100 more than the one they were selling. Staff is always nice and helpful, happy to lead you to whatever you need, give you some pointers with your project, or just make friendly small talk at the register; after all, Viroqua is too small to be making enemies in. Even better, they let you bring your (leashed) pooch in! Yay! Sometimes the Humane Society is out front looking for homes for the dogs (do it! We've rescued both of our current dog and last dog from the Humane Society, they're the best) and other times you might find a brat stand! Hello, Today, while…read moreat the Decorah Walmart, I witnessed an employee dumping trash into a larger bin without changing the liners (which were nasty) and taking items out of the trash to reuse (gross)! At one point, another staffer had to point out that a spray bottle this person pulled out of the trash was broken. Does cleanliness not matter? I quit using the self checks outs because they were regularly dirty, and staff pulled bags / hangers out of the trash to reuse and the frequent attitudes of staff. I will no longer patronize this store and will be talking to my husband about alternatives. Cleanliness needs to be a priority epically with the covid-19 and new fungus virus. P.S. management who won't help, short tempered stockers do not help. This Walmart is a sinking ship just like the defective products they sneak on their shelves to try and sell.

Downfall is the waiting line at the checkouts. They have 13 checkout stands which are not in operation.

Since it's outdoor, definitely dress for the weather if you're visiting in the winter months. There's no real food inside the mall, but that wasn't an issue with lots of dining options nearby. It's also right off I-90, with easy freeway access and parking, which makes it a convenient stop. Sadly now it is a place that has no direction anymore and management is non existent that's for sure. I took up a part time job with the mall and the things I found out were no shocking but were at the same time. Bad financial choices over and over again from what I could gather from but at what point do you learn... apparently there old manager spent 8 grand on candy for an event and had to give all of it away. Like what are we doing really. Anyways don't expect the bathrooms to improve or anything because there is no budget or whoever makes the big decisions won't out the funding into it anymore but then why not be done all together right?
