Oh my goodness. Just got off the phone with "one of the managers" as she never gave a name. She was argumentative from hello. Then when I questioned their ability to order a product she told me I was argumentative and hung up on me. Never going back there. I ordered a set of ramps from Tractor Supply Company on May 12th, and shortly after placing the order, they canceled it with absolutely no explanation. No reason, no update, nothing. The bigger issue was the website itself. It was one of the worst online shopping experiences I've ever had. I spent around 40 minutes trying to order ONE item because the website constantly froze, failed to load pages, and kept popping up messages asking if I wanted to exit because the page wasn't responding. I had to keep clicking in and out of pages just to get anything to work. The site is slow, confusing, and frustrating to navigate. After wasting that much time, having the order randomly canceled without communication made the entire experience even worse. What really pushed it over the edge was going into the store afterward and talking to an employee in Southwest Florida. The employee literally said, "They don't care about the websites. They don't care about online ordering." That says everything right there. Very disappointed. read more

Sad to be giving a low review. But, Tractor Supply I must use in Port Charlotte is disappointing. I have learned to CALL ahead and verify availability, etc. That is by no means the info you get over the phone will be what you/see get when you get to the store. I have been using Tractor Supply often will RV'g for nearly 10 years. A trend downward in customer service has been sensed... 1 big problem, nearly half of the calls I make to the store (during the day) never get answered. ??? My latest complaint. Friday (Aug 22) about 5pm, (I wrote that down being concerned), I called to confirm that the propane station was open for filling and they HAD propane in the tank (ask these questions over the phone based on several years of experience). I was told,' we open Saturday morning at 8am, and will be filing propane tanks.' Great, loaded my empty tanks and ready to leave for Tracker Supply before 8am Sat. Arrived TS about 8:30a. Gate closed, no one to be seen in fenced area. Went inside. Asked for assistance with loading propane. 'Propane not open today.' ??? I questioned that. Was told I was to ask for manager for information on availability. Based on my experience getting anyone to asker the TS phone during daylight hours is maybe a bit better than 50/50. Get a manager. Don't bet on it..... A once TS advocate. Now, I question even going there (because of the drive I have). Big waist of my time and $ to show up and be sent away. Without a product that was CONFIRMED just over 12 hours earlier...AGAIN! read more

I stopped into tractor supply as a favor to try and help out a neighbor. I was looking for Lime powder. I had a lot of questions. John at the front desk was incredible! He listened with the intent to understand, ot simply reply. He was ever so helpful answering all of my questions as well as making a few other suggestions to resolve the problem. I hope TSC sees what an asset he is to their store, we need more people like John. read more

Terrible service if you want to return an item. On 12/26/24, I was told the $20 Tshirt I wanted to return would only result in a store card rather than return to my cc. Reason being that I had exchanged the shirt to get a different size a week earlier. What I didnt know was the "cashier who made the exchange was new, didnt alert me to this policy and was no longer working there" according to the Mgr. I requested to speak to when John expressed he could not do anything different. Long story short, apparently the customer is never right in this TS Store, I was told by John (the rudest cashier I ever had the displeasure dealing with) that "this policy is on their website"(i.e., I should have known?). But what was worse, he called me "HUN" 3 times- I asked him to please stop calling me "Hun", yet he continued to do so in front of 3 other store staff including a mgr (Tiffany, Krystal, Jessica?)- the 4th time I told him I would call the police if he called me "hun" one more time, to which he told me to "go ahead" and something to the effect of the police would laugh in my face. I asked for the names/phone for management above these 4 poorly trained store staff, I was given the information (pictured), but I was unable to get in touch with the District Mgr Mike & Jessica's mailbox was full. I spent about $700 on christmas gifts for some needy children & family gifts in this Port Chartlotte (1185 Kings Hgwy) Store. I realize customers should know to expect very little customer service these days, but what I expected was someone to acknowledge that this was a misunderstanding, the information was not provided to me- the girl who originally helped me was new and inexperienced (which they told me) and she could have very easily rung the shirt up differently and I would not be in this situation. MY expectation was that a Manager should be able to "over ride" their cash register to make a credit card refund for a customer the day after Christmas. What I expected was that at least one person might say "I'm sorry this wasn't explained to you" but what I got was the exact opposite- a gang of employees NOT TRAINED in any type of customer service, and lastly, NO EMPLOYEE (especially one with a big chip on his shoulder) -JOHN- SHOULD EVER REFER TO A CUSTOMER AS "HUN" & CONTINUE TO RUDELY DO SO IN A CONDESCENDING MANNER AFTER BEING ASKED TO STOP! My opinion is that was immediate grounds for termination. The result of this interaction? My Husband and I will NEVER shop at a Tractor Supply again and I have since sold ALL of my Tractor Supply Stock at a nice profit. I do hope someone in Management and not at this Port Charlotte Store reads these reviews. On July 9 at 5 pm I went into the Pt Charlotte Tractor Supply to buy some castors. Long story short, A furniture dolly on the shelf above the castors fell of and hit me in the head. The girl manager came and put the dolly right back to where it fell from.I pulled it back off and threw it on the floor .She never showed any concern about my head injury. Iwas hurting and angry. She then threatened to call the sheriff on me if I did not leave immediately. I have never so hurt and humiliated in my life. Corporate said the district manager would would call in 24 to 72 hours . Truly had the most heartwarming experience today with John, Kevin and Jeff today. We had purchased very expensive commercial lawn equiptment less than two months ago that was stolen from us and these employees were so compassionate with helping us replace these items. Not only just to us but every customer who walked in the door as we waited were all greeted with a friendly "hello, welcome in, how can we help you". These guys were great and I would so recommend this store. They do price match and were just great to work with twice. Thank you guys! read more

I will NEVER trust TSC's customer reviews because I wrote one and although I praised the product I purchased, I criticized TSC's method of shipping and the delays - for example after it was shipped to Atlanta it sat there for four days. Just bought a bunch of baby chicks this weekend and very disappointed. Almost all of the chicks already have bumblefoot and we are cleaning and hoping they'll all survive and it will cure itself. Don't know where the heck they got this batch or maybe that's why they were 1$ each but its sad they get these chicks from obviously unsanitary poultry farms with no regards to the chicks health. They need to be healthy from day one in order to have fresh organic eggs. If we have to treat them with antibiotics due to there injuries then it defeats the purpose many people want to have vaccine free antibiotic free chickens for cleaner egg production. I hope they never order from this farm again as there's no reason for them to be in that condition so young read more

Crummy customer service. First, the aisles are so narrow, only one person with a cart can get through. So we had to wait for employees to pass! Shouldn't they be making room for the customer? Then, we had to wait in line, because the cashier wouldn't stop talking to a customer about how sick she is. She finally stopped talking and scanned our items. My husband's debit card didnt work, as he pulled the card out of the machine the cashier coughed in her hand, then she TOOK my husband's card out of his hand, without asking, and rubbed the card with the hand she just coughed in! Gave us some nonsense about rubbing the scratches out of the card so it would work. It was so rude and gross. read more

I went in looking for diesel tanks and left with rainchecks. The people were still nice and they were fairly helpful in telling me when the tanks would be in. The prices are also MUCH better than Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. I will return. read more
