The store has alot of products-we went in for dog toys and leases, and there was a lot to look over besides those 2 things. I forgot they had a pet bakery by checkout-not sure how fresh the products are, wouldn't think they make them there(?)but nice to know it's there. There was alot of dog aisles compared to say a Walmart etc. They had a huge selection of leases, beds, and food. I would say if you have special needs for your pet, you probably have a good chance of finding something here they can have. Years ago I did shop here for my husky and recall getting her treats that had no corn in them. The store has signs up so it should be easy locating things for any pet. Store also seemed clean and organized so a plus for that. Employee at checkout was nice to people in line to checkout. The prices on the stuffed dog toys seemed way overpriced though....they were not all of great quality for say a tug-of-war with your dog or a strong dog. We ended up going elsewhere and got some great stuff for alot cheaper. The other thing I noticed that I thought was WAY overpriced was a water system for your dog getting his own water if your not home-it wasn't a fountain, but empties into a bowl. Cheap plastic, expensive. We passed on that too. May go back eventually if we can't find what we need elsewhere.

You really would miss something great by not stopping in and saying Hi to Tom. Preferably buy something too, even if it is just his farm fresh eggs that he has for sale. Tom has operated (and now owns) this mill for a very long time, I believe it has been fourty years or so that he has worked here. Any type of feed or bedding you need, he either has or can get. Feeders, waterers, brooding lights or bulbs for poultry - even baby chicks! I was looking for some specific breeds so I did not get my chicks from Tom, but I did notice that he had a bunch of Silkies which always seems to be in high demand (May '18). Smaller business like Tom's are at risk of being shut down by online sales or by the bigger chain stores around. If he has what you need, why not buy from him and support this local business? On a sidenote.. the mill itself is quite a sight, Disney architects should come take a look to recreate this for Frontierland in Disneyworld. It is old and very photogenic. Check or cash, only.

There were also great deals on apple trees so I picked up a few of those. My son loves to see the baby ducks and chicks in the spring so we try to stop in to see them in the spring.
