I took them to the front to check out and told the lady that I had an email coupon. I pulled it up and she looks at it and goes "there's no barcode." I said "oh I'm not sure. I didn't see one but it says the coupon works in stores and online." She replied with a snarky remark about how she can't physically put anything in the computer with out a bar code. I totally understood, but I asked why it would say in store coupon if I could t use it in stores. She then proceeded to tell me that if I had scrolled down to the very bottom of the email I'd have seen the barcode. I apologized and said that I thought it was for the other sale it mentioned because of where it was placed. The rest of the transaction was her telling me that if I had just scrolled down in the first place, I would've seen it and that I should've known that and blah blah blah. To sum it up, she was incredibly rude. I'm sorry I wasn't aware of how LOFT sends emails, that doesn't mean the associate has the right to talk down to me like she did. I will not enter this location when shopping if I see her working.
