I will preface this review with the fact that my entire day was made after my visit to Tractor Supply Company on John R. Rice Blvd in Murfreesboro. I was over at Sam's Club waiting to meet up with and realized I still had an hour to kill. I decided to run over to TSC to look for some calming/relaxing aids for my dog. I walked in not really having a full idea as to where the pet supplies were, so I just moseyed around the store. I approached the dog food area and an employee in passing asked me how I was doing. We exchanged pleasantries and she added in, "Can I help you find anything?" I said yes and proceeded to explain to her exactly what I was looking for and the reasons why. Immediately, she guided me to the aisle where the product(s) were. This is where my day began to become "made."
The employee began by showing me where the item I was looking for was located and continued to point out the different options I had to choose from. She handed me the most popular one and informed me of all the benefits that came with that specific brand/product. While we discussed the product, I gave her plenty of in-depth insight about my dog and her history of having very specific needs. Each time the employee learned something new about my dog, she would tell me about specific products that would cater to her needs, as well as the pros and cons of each product she mentioned (per my dog's breed). That made me feel confident that I would be choosing the right products for my baby girl.
After several minutes of conversing, I asked the employee if I was holding them up from what they were working on and respectfully, they said I was not. At this point, I had given more than enough information about my dog that the employee pretty much knew all about her. After discussing my dog's anxiety, the types of treats I give her, her toys, and the food I was feeding her, the employee leads me to the next aisle to show me a more options. I was recommended a plethora of treats, toys, foods, and training methods that would ultimately get my dog to exactly where she needs to be AND where I need her to be. I was even informed of specific training techniques!! Wow!
I could write a novel about the experience I had during my visit, but I will just sum it all up right here. At this point, whoever is reading this must be wondering like crazy who this undeniably AMAZING employee is... Her name is Patrina, and she is the store manager. While most may assume that everything I mentioned above is literally her job, I beg to differ. Patrina went so far above and beyond that I was in absolute awe as I walked out of the store. The amount of information I left with not only helped me learn more about my dog's physical and mental health and how to maintain it, but left me with a sense of hope that good humans still exist. Patrina, if you ever get to read this, just know you restored quite a bit of my faith in humanity. I can only hope that every individual that you come across is as impacted as I was.
From the bottom of my heart and beyond, thank you. For everything. Continue being who you are and never let the world's negativity get in your way because we certainly need more people like you.
Sincerely,
